Selena smiled as she watched from afar how Severus talked to his cousin. Morgan really was a great girl and she knew that Severus cared a lot for her. She waved back to Morgan and waited till her date returned to her. "Thank you, Severus. Your cousin looks very beautiful tonight, doesn't she?" Selena said smiling.

Ah no date, contrary to how the rest of the school seemed to insist upon handling the event. Hardly an issue to Sora, as he wasn't exactly interested in any of the people in his school. That he'd met, anyway...

He casually moved over to the punch bowl and helped himself to an almost overflowing glass. He didn't mean to pour that much, but he figured he may as well drink it before someone bumped into him and it spilled. While he did that, he watched the rest of the students over his glass, locating each one and wondering how they could all be so blissfully content with their most likely mundane lives.

Kiara tilted her head to Evan and gave a small sweet smile at his question "Yes" she answered him honestly. the dance would start soon she was sure, " They are waiting for the champions and their date I assume" She answered him, she was looking forward to seeing her friend Azaria who was the date of Cian Dawson.

Kiara noted the serious tone the Ferox's voice at the question and straightened trying to make herself look taller, though she kept a civil look to her face. "No.. Halfblood, both my parents are magical" she answered. If she could get away with it she would say yes sure she was pureblood, however they would surely have a way of finding out. Evan did say they were one big happy family after all.. She felt like giving him another comment, something to the effect of a little muggle blood never hurt anyone, but she knew that wouldn't go over well.

She looked at Evan, there was a reason she asked his opinion of half bloods after all, and raised her glass to him, his brother and Date "To the Dance? " she asked, she was after all learning the Dance of purebloods with blood centric ideals and the Rosiers were interesting partners.

Kronos was late. Not his fault. He was still Angry about the death of Dante. He had ran down. He was wearing a black suit with Blue tie. He saw Luna and she looked stunning. He kisses her cheek and told her how beautiful she looked. He spotted Sirius and looked at him. He smiled. Then waved. He walked over and asked "Who are you waiting for?" He had anger in his eyes but a calm face.

Marvolo left the dungeons, her dress swishing at her feet as she took each step. She looked like something from a fairy tale and she loved it. Turning the corner she saw Sirius waiting for her by the door, her heart skipped a beat and she smiled broadly as she walked up to him.

The Minister entered the ball on the arm of her boyfriend and lover, it had been years since the last Yule Ball she had attended and she looked forward to this one.

Dellen looked in the mirror one last time, her purple and black gown hung perfectly from her body and she looked every bit as regal as a Lady should. Walking down the stone steps that led to the hall she looked over the champions that awaited her instructions "Everyone is accounted for no?"

Straightening his tie Remus waited for Malachai outside the hall, he glanced at Sirius and merely nodded while he surpressed a sneer as the girl that stole his friend approached.

Barty walked down to the hall, a single black rose in hand his cane in the other. He pushed open the door and ignored the decor as he looked for his Fiance. Spotting a green dress he made his way over then paused a moment when he realized how perfect she looked.

Nova walked into the hall a small smile on her lips, her sisters had dates but she was going alone and that was fine. She was excited for the ball but dying for a smoke.

Alchemy waited to escort her girlfriend into the ball outside of the hall, the deputy head of wolfclaw would never dream of entering alone.

Sirius looked over at Kronos, still a bit disturbed about what had happened. But, alas, today was a special day. "I'm waiting for," Sirius was interrupted by the extreme beauty of his girlfriend. He walked up to Marvolo and gave her a small kiss. "Well, don't you look perfect. Love the dress. Love everything beautiful."
He nodded as Lestrange approached. He wasn't fond of the woman, but dammit, it was a special day.

Stephan smiled, as Willow was by his arm. The last Yule Ball had been a success, so many years ago, and he was still a student when he attended it. "Well my love, it seems that everything will go well this time around as well. You look very astonishing by the way my love."

Morderus smiled at hearing that familiar, loving voice. He adjusted his jacket, finally letting his necklace hang free. It was the only thing that reminded him of a close familiar. He wasn't gonna hide it. He turned back, and his jaw fell, with a huge awe. "You look...absolutely...beautiful!" He said, looking at Emery up and down. He enjoyed purple. Mostly because of his house having the same color, but Emery looked fantastic in it. He offered her his hand, with a wink. "May I have a kiss from by lover, before others get to look at your beauty?"

As Lily arrived, James smiled happily. She was so pretty, and looked beautiful in her dress. As she kissed him, he felt as if something was a bit of. So comforting her was his best shot. "You look amazing." He said, nuzzling Lily slightly. "Everyone seems to have picked nice clothing but you," he whistled, not too loud though. He didn't want to draw attention. "You are simply perfect!" James said, smiling afterwards.

As Amelia began her approach, Philip was looking at the young couples. The joy of young love. How he had experienced that. Back when he was still a prefect at Wolfclaw. His former love, an Araneae girl. How it was ironic that he was now attending the ball with the head of Araneae herself. As Philip gazed at her, he grinned. "Likewise Miss Amelia, you look wonderful. A beautiful dress, combined with a perfect lady. A seductive combination indeed," he said, offering Amelia his arm. They were in public, so Philip wasn't simply gonna reach out and kiss her. That could wait.

Kronos was not surprised by Sirius cut off. Marvolo looked pretty, nothing on Luna. But still. He smiled at her and tilted his head. "Her I am guessing. How are you both anyway?" he asked

Legion. Had been talking to people and was on his own now. He spotted Jocelyn and decided to say hello. He got two drinks and went over to her. He sat down and gave her a goofy smile. "Hello there Sister"

Morana looked up and saw Barty. She smiled weakly in hope he will like the way she dressed for today. She took a few steps closer to him and completely ignored the rest of the people around. In her eyes, there was no one else anyway. "Hello my devil," she wispered to him.

Rabastan smirked and nodded to Severus. Of course he would take care of his girl. He wouldn't let anything happen to Morgan, no matter what his real intentions really were.

Luna looked around with disgust on her face. "I would maybe like it more, if we shared dungeons with Slytherins. That place is probably the most similiar to our home, but still, nothing compare to our school. I can't wait to be back home," she said as she took a sip of her drink and spotted Nova as she entered the Hall.

Satsuki watched the people around as her interrest caught boy in her age. He looked strange and somehow mysterious. Satsuki weakly remembered she saw him few times at Hufflepuff table, but since she didn't socialize much, she never really talked to him or knew his name. Still, he seemed to be like the best idea for company, so she silently approached him in hope he will notice her.

Lily smiled nervously at James' comment. "I think I did my best with what I could afford," she replied shyly.

Amelia accepted Philip's hand with smirk. "Well, thank you, mister Malfoy," she thanked for his compliment. He was sexy as always which slightly reminded her their adventure from few days ago and little wild smile appeared on her face as mischief was hidden in her eyes.

Emery smiled meekly as a rosey blush touched her cheeks as she took in Morderus' reaction. She sighed as she took in the sight of him, compeltely handsome. "You don't look so bad yourself. You look wonderful," she said taking his hand. At his request, she moved closer to him, putting her free hand on the back of his neck she looked into his eyes and whispered, "Anything for you, my love." She raised her chin to him and kissed him gently, but very deeply, on the lips.

Taking in a small breath after finishing the glass, Sora returned to watching the students, having taken a break to down a second glass of punch. Eating and drinking were for the bored and the starved, and Sora found that he fit the former category quite nicely.

A girl, exquisitely dressed and a Ravenclaw he'd noticed before, was making her way towards him. He then realized he was standing directly in front of the punch bowl. "Am I in your way?" he asked, sidestepping enough so that he wouldn't be anymore.

Jocelyn looked up at Legion but turned her head away without saying something to him. She had no words not even for her own brother. Maybe it was a bad idea to come here. Jocelyn looked at her dress, she always wanted to wear this dress but this felt not the right moment. She looked up at him now noticing she had tears in her eyes and some spilling on her dress. "I'm going for a walk." She said with a limp in her throat, she settled down her drink.

Her manners told her to coe up with some excuse or something, but she wasn't at home now, here she was just a student, not spoiled princess, so she decided to be honest. "Actually, more like I am bored here and you seemed to be nice company, so I decided to try to talk to you," she said with japanese accent she couldn't really hide and she didn't even want to.

Evan sighed and sat down again next to his brother and pulled Kiara down next to him. "I guess you're right. I just hope they get ready soon, I hate to wait for other people." he said and took a sip of his drink. He glared at his brother when he asked her about her blood status, and tightened his hold on her waist slightly. Why did Ferox have to put such an importance on it, especially right now. Still, Evan was smirking again when he saw that Kiara wasn't cowed by his brother and toasted with her. Still, he was glad that she wasn't a muggleborn.

Ferox completely ignored his brother, his eyes focused on the young Hufflepuff. He inclined his head and raised his glass to her as a sign that she had been accepted by him. Ferox had to hand it to her, not many girls would keep such a cool face when in the company of people like him. "To the dance."

Severus lead Selena to a table and sat down with her next to him."Morgan looks great, almost as good as you." he told her smiling. Her red dress showed her off in just the right light and the red high heels made her legs look even longer. "You should wear red more often."

The greatest shortcoming is lack of a name, one which was plaguing his mind right now. He searched to see if there was one, somewhere, but couldn't place it at all.

As Severus walked back to Selena, Morgan leaned against Rabastan once again. She smiled and sighed, happy that her cousin had finally found happiness. Then she noticed that Morana had seemed to vanished. Morgan looked for a moment and then spotted her going to Barty. She smiled at the happy couple, glad that he had made it. She looked up at Rabastan and said quietly, "Looks like everyone has their someone now."

"Miss Satsuki Kurokawa," he replied, kissing the top of her hand. "I'm Sora Michaelis. Would you like to take this outside? I can hardly hear you over all of the romance and snogging."

His offer was both sarcastic and serious. The couples were very distracting, and not in a way he particularly enjoyed, since he was generally uncomfortable with overstretched romantic feelings. Valentine's Day was the only nastier offender.

Satsuki chuckled at his offer. "Why not? It's not like I am here for more than just to fill my duty to society," she said, her voice slightly annoyed as she looked around herself and saw all those happy couples. She herself considered herself to be young for rubish like that and not to mention she highly doubted this would be her style once she actually gets to dating.

Rabastan smiled at Morgan. "Yeah, even our perfect insane couple is together now," he smirked as he watched Morana and Barty. Those two looked like normal couple. Two people in love with each other. But the darkness that surrounded them, everyone who knew those two must know that they were capable of great things. Maybe terrible as well, no doubt about that. But as long as Rabastan stood on their side, he didn't really care.

Barty kissed his fiance on the lips then presented the flower to her "for you my queen"

Legion looked at Jocelyn and hugged her. He kissed her cheek and looked at her and smiled. "I know. I know. It hurts. Enjoy tonight. Mourn tomorrow. Today is yours." He said with a shaky voice. He was upset but stayed strong for her.

He knew how important it was for the Rosiers not to hang out with people that wrer not worthy of them, but the girl seemed to be strong enough. "It seems, you have been accepted as a suitable date, Kiara. Congratulation. Which grade are you?" he asked her, his voice silken.

Sirius reciprocated the kiss, with a lovable smile afterwards. "Don't compare us. Don't make me humiliate myself." He joked, placing his arm around her. "Considering what's happening lately, not too bad," he answered. "How are you holding up my friend?" He questioned Kronos.

James chuckled a bit. Lily seemed to be a bit nervous. She had certain reasons, but James was there to comfort her. "You did enough. You're as beautiful as ever to me," he responded with a chuckle, offering her his arm. "You're with me, don't be nervous. We'll have fun. Promise." He added, with his gentle smile, usually shown only towards her.

Philip had a firm grip, yet as always in public, gentle and calm. Nothing like their little adventure. "Let us go then, to make the children jealous of such marvelous woman," Philip continued to flatter Amelia, as he slowly pulled her hand along.

"Willow...aren't you flattering me too much?" He snickered, letting out a chuckle. "Just hope this year, everything goes right." He commented, pulling Willow along.

The white suit really reflected everything Morderus stood for that night. He stood for love. "Tonight will be perfect beautiful. I love you so much," he whispered, squeezing her hand slightly. As their kiss broke, Morderus had a kind smile, slowly opening his eyes. "Shall we enter?" He said, looking deeply into Emery's eyes.

Jocelyn looked at him, she had no time for partying around after her brother got killed and he wasn't even dead for 24 hours. "Stop doing this Legion, stop pretending it is all fine, because it is not fine!! Who is next? You or Kronos?" She hissed at him. "I mourn when i want to mourn, don't decide that for me!" Jocelyn walked away from him, she was angry, sad and confused, she needed someone who could hold her and just say nothing.

Legion was shocked by the out burst. He stood and flung the table and walked over her he spun her round and said "You make it seem as if I don't care. Jesus Christ. It hurts. We all lost a brother. That's the third one. Reaper, Achilles and now Dante. I do know if we will lose more. Yes I know you pain but. It wasn't our fault. Don't be stroppy with me. I was being kind. I was saying what Dante would want. Jesus. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!?" He screamed grabbing everyone's attention. He stormed out shoving, pushing, throwing people out of his path.

Kronos looked at him "I don't want to talk about it now. Tomorrow sure." he gave him a don't bother look.
