The Battle Of Hogwarts And The Curse Breaking (Open to All)

The battle of Hogwarts was the worst possible thing that the wizarding world never expected. The battle was met by multiple armies, The Order of The Phoenix, Dumbledore's Army, Marvolo's Death Eaters, The Travellers, The Protectors, and The Nexians. Voldemort's army split in two, his best most loyal men and women joined there master on the hill overlooking Hogwarts and they sent a infantry into the fight. Students joined in the defense of there school as did the professors, blood stained the stones of Hogwarts and lives were lost.

Centuries ago when the school was founded and Gryffindor fought Slytherin, the founders forsaw a war that one day would ravage there great school. The founders invented a curse that Hogwarts would use to save the wizarding race from sure peril. The curse would freeze every person in the school, they were be trapped like soul's out of time. The world around them has aged and changed, Voldemort took over the government and soon the world. Fifty years have passed and those trapped did not die or more or age.

Corvinus knelt on the hill that overlooked Hogwarts, the dome that seemed to taunt him keeping him from his people and the innocent lives hidden within. His heavy green hood obscured his features as he stood and turned to leave when the sound of shattering glass made his dead heart skip a beat. Turning he watched in amazement as the dome surrounding the school shattered before his eyes. Drawing his wand he conjured his patronus, a valiant centaur sprung to life and he sent a message to Morana.

Somewhere across the country the patronus galloped to its query, stopping before the old vampiress the centaur pawed the ground, opening its mouth Corvinus' voice drifted from its throat. "Its happened. The Dome is breaking."

Note: All are welcome into this thread, you may role play that you heard the curse is breaking and arrive to witness it or you may say you were frozen. If you were not frozen your character may have aged considerably.

[Morana Gaunt]

Morana liked torturing people for information. She would lie to say otherwise. But after fifty years, even this somehow turned into a boring routine. At the end of the day, she just felt numb as she sat on the window of Grindelwald castle and silently drank blood from her cup. She wished she could at least feel the pain over losing her sister and children. But she couldn't feel a thing. She was just empty. There was huge hole inside of her, all the people missing in her life. It was only familiar voice, that woke her up from daydream. At Corvinus' voice, spark appeared in her eyes. "Remus," she spoke softly, knowing he will hear her. "We have to go," she added, reaching her hand behind her, as if to grab him, as if she knew he was there, so she could apparate them to Hogwarts. And that she did.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus sat in the bedroom he shared with Morana, his hands moving deftly over the old books he had spread out on his desk as usual researching ways to save his old friends. "Remus" her voice was soft and yet he heard it like a yell. "We have to go" he was downstairs with a flash of light, his hand was in Morana's as they disappeared without a word shared. They appeared with a crack on the hills overlooking Hogwarts, he looked to Corvinus and clapped a hand on his shoulder as they joined him. Following his gaze he looked up in awe, shards of the magical curse were falling to the ground like a giant piece of glass being shattering.

"Do you think they'll know?" Morana asked into the silence, despite the fact inside she was screaming for her children and her sister. She wanted to go there, now and get them outof the unfreezing fight before they get pointlessly hurt in case nobody will notice they took 50 years long break and there is nothing to fight for now.

Idie looked around, finally being able to move. it felt so great to be free of that awful awful curse. She touched her face and smiled to herself. She then remebered she had gotten frozen in a battle and ran for a place to hide. She didnt want to fight anymore. She just wanted to be safe and alone

[Alexis Gamp]

Alana Burke
Alana had not known what she was going to do when the war finally reached it’s head until the night it happened. The armies were to descend on Hogwarts, and there had not been a lot of notice. But many were travelling to Hogsmeade and entering the school, intending to fight. Alana had made the decision quickly, to follow them. It had been a hard fight, though nobody could have been sure of who was heading to victory. Then, something happened. Something that she could not explain nor understand. An inconceivable magic enveloped her, and those surrounding her, and she was no longer able to move. Every body within the school was frozen in place.

The girl could not fathom how long it had been. How long they had all been stuck in place. She did not know how far the magic stretched or what it’s intention was. At first, she had suspected that it was something that the Death Eaters had come up with to easily take out their opposition. But they never came.

Now, though, it seemed that the magic was lifting. Releasing them from their years long bind. It was like glass, shattering around them and suddenly, Alana could move. Looking around, her eyes wide in anticipation, she waited to see a reaction out of those around her.

Alexis Greengrass
Alexis had been at the hospital when the message was received. They needed healers at Hogwarts. She left her post, entrusting the long-term residents with a group of senior interns and made her way there as soon as she could. The Great Hall had been bustling with activity, injured being lined up for treatment and the dead being laid on the ground on the other side of the room. She had been keeping an eye out for her nieces, and was thankful that none of them had been brought to her or the other healers.

Frozen in time along with the others in the hall, Alexis had initially fought the invisible force that was holding her in place. It hadn’t taken her long to realise that there was no use. She would not be moving- maybe not ever. It was years, that much she could tell, before anything changed. Just like when the curse began, its breaking was sudden. She was able to move, and she looked around in concern, knowing that despite the confusion and the fact that they had been stuck in place for an unknown amount of time, she and her co-workers would need to get back to work immediately. If she had not changed, then nor had the injured and as such, they still needed help.

Anastasia Velikov
Anastasia had travelled by portkey, not intending on allowing a fight to pass her by. Perhaps she should have stayed home, but when she found out that Lexi was going there was no way she would change her mind. So, she entered the school along with a small group of others from her homeland and immediately drew her wand. It had been no more than an hour before she, too, was taken by the curse.

Realising that movement was returning to her body, Anastasia took no time in leaving her place and taking off at a sprint, searching and calling for her best friend- the only person who actually mattered to her in the castle.

Anita Moore
Clark, who she referred to mostly as Alex as his first name was far too mature for the small todder he was, had been on her hip as Anita apparated to Hogsmeade. Within a moment, she was in the Hog’s Head and through the tunnel, looking around in search of someone- anyone she could help. While she could not fight because there was nowhere safe to leave her son, she could not stay at home either. She had people that she cared about who had also come to join the battle and if anything she would be waiting to make sure that they were okay. So, feeling helpless, she had remained in the room of requirement, where she and Clark had been frozen.

The moment Anita was able to move, after so long being so close to her son, but just a little too far, she instantly rushed to the little boy, picking him up in her arms and looking around- her gaze trying to search for answers as to what had happened.

Bill Weasley
Bill had been one of the first responders with the order, arriving with his family that were out of school. He had been pleased to see that Ron had indeed been okay, at least for now, and had immediately followed instructions and headed out to start the fight. It had been in the middle of a duel, one that he was struggling with as there was two death eaters both trying to off him when he and the world around them had stopped- stuck exactly as they had been.

Wand arm raised, ready with another spell on his lips, Bill slowly seemed to defrost. He did not allow himself confusion yet, though, as he brought his wand down- once and then twice, taking out the two death eaters who had not yet had the chance to regain their bearings.

Blair de la Fontaine
Two years of hard training with both the Aurors and the Order had ensured that Blair was as ready as she could be for the battle that everyone knew would come. When it did, she had arrived, along with a number of her comrades and immediately joined the battle. It was grueling, and though she had managed to main or restrain a decent number of enemies, she was not entirely unharmed. Her dominant arm had been compromised and she had taken her wand into her weaker hand, which lead to a less accurate duel. But she managed okay, having only just body-binded a young death eater when everything around her froze in place.

Unable to work out exactly how long had passed- how long they had been frozen where they were, Blair felt her fingers begin to have movement. The rest of her quickly followed, and in only a few moments it was as though she had never been frozen. Her wand raised once again, unsure if the reason for their release from their invisible bonds were friend or foe, or just plain time, she stood prepared for whatever was to come next.

Blaise Zabini
Blaise Zabini had been living the high life for the past fifty years. Somehow, it was as though he hadn’t aged nearly as he should, being that at sixty seven years old he still appeared to be in his early twenties. His mother had finally died, along with her last husband, when he was thirty, and so he had all of the money he could have ever needed. His daughter, born rather late in his life, was growing into a stunning young woman and he was faithfully following Voldemort.

Word reached he and a group of other men, who had been entertaining themselves with alcohol and general chat, that the curse unleashed on his old school was breaking. Though it had frozen everyone within where they were, and allowed Voldemort and his followers free reign, it had also protected them. And so, the fighters within the walls may very well pose a threat once again. Not nearly as much of a threat as they once had been, as Voldemort and his followers had grown all the more powerful over the past half a century. Within moments, he was out of his comfortable chair and apparating away, to the same hill that he and his comrades had once gathered, all of those years ago.

Carmen Thorne
Carmen had arrived shortly after the fighting had begun and had helped muster the younger students who hadn’t managed to get out in time down into the dungeons, where they would be the most fortified. A mixture of young people where all trying their bests to be brave as they heard yells and spells from above, and eventually Carmen and the other older students and adults had decided it best to silence the room, so that they could not hear anymore.

They had all frozen- unmoving and unaging- for many years. There was nothing they could do, no way they could help the fear-filled, frozen faces of the children that were still gathered in the safest parts of the dungeon. They all began to move at once, and although the room remained silent, at the shock of the fall of the magic that had been holding them in place for so long. Then, all at once, the students began to talk, loudly and worriedly and Carmen shared a look with one of the other adults, trying to think of a way to calm them.

Dolores Umbridge
Dolores Umbridge had pledged her loyalty to Lord Voldemort before the battle of Hogwarts had begun. In fact, it had been just after the dark lord had returned that she had gone to him and offered her allegiance. It had been many years since then, and after the perceived success of the battle at Hogwarts, and Dolores was enjoying life. She had recently celebrated her one hundredth birthday, and although she had not aged like an ordinary person would, she was definitely feeling a lot better than anybody of her age should. She had no idea why, but she was not going to argue it.

She could harm who she pleased and she could do whatever she wanted. Which was exactly what she was doing when she received a message from one of the lower ranking of Voldemort’s faction. The curse on the school was breaking. Though they had speculated, nobody knew everything about the curse, and so the first thing that Dolores did was travel to the school, far enough away that she would not be seen, but close enough that she could see everything that was happening around it.

Ivy Stevenson
Ivy Stevenson had been within the castle walls when the curse fell, on her way out to meet with her master. It had been too late, however, and as she’d been held back by a fast, but simple duel she found herself stuck on the grounds. Which was where she had stayed, mid-step, for the past fifty years.

The magic was lifting, she could feel it, and she remained alert until she was able to actually move. Quickly, she took the final few steps to the door and slipped out of it, before taking off at the faster gait toward the hill where she had been on her way to when the castle froze.

Rhea Amber Grimm & Violetta Grimm
Amber and Violetta had arrived at Hogwarts, along with a couple of other members of their family. They were supposed to fight, and if Amber was honest she didn’t have a problem with that at all. It had been quite a while since the battle had begun when the curse moved over the school, and Amber could tell who was leading. The number of casualties and fatalities on all sides was a reminder that in war, nobody wins.

They, along with members of their faction and family, spent fifty years frozen. Waiting to be able to move once again. Amber wondered if the Hogwarts students would have known what was going on, as she had never heard of anything like what had happened in her life. Eventually, though, it began to fade, and then it was gone entirely. They could move again, but they also knew that meant everyone else could. So, the two women raised their wands again, looking briefly at one another as they prepared in case the battle re-commenced.

Abbadon Morgenstern
Abbadon smiled from a high-level window, watching over the inner grounds of Hogwarts. She had entered a few duels, but it seemed that most of the fighting was concentrated in the lower levels and the grounds. Fighters had fallen all over the grass and stone, and she was enjoying watching as blood pooled on the ground, mixing with dirt and other debris. The sounds and the smell, it was intoxicating. But she would fight as well, when the time was right. Her gut told her it was not the right time yet.

It was there, in the grimy window of a catastrophic castle that Abbadon remained, unchanging and untouched for fifty years. She knew that time was passing, but she did not know exactly how much. Sometimes it was like she had been put under a trance- that time was moving faster than she could comprehend, but at others she could feel every moment. Many years before, the Slytherin had given up believing that she would one day be able to move again. But now, she swore she could move the very tips of her fingers. The freedom spread quickly throughout her body, and she looked down once more to see that the state of the grounds was no different than it had been when she had last laid eyes on it.

Astoria Greengrass
Her sister had begged her to go with a number of other Slytherins and leave the castle. To get out before the fight proved deadly. But Astoria had refused. More over, she had said she would leave and had not. At least that way she knew that her sister wouldn’t be distracted as she worried for her. If she had left, she knew that she could have gotten on fine with her parents and the dark lord that they followed. But she couldn’t leave her friends, her sisters and her aunt in the castle to be hurt or die while she sat like the little lady she was supposed to be with her daddy. So, she did everything she could to help- though she was not nearly as skilled as many others. Most of her time was spent simply trying to keep herself alive, or guide younger students to the dungeons. Or helping get the injured to the Great Hall where there were nurses and healers doing what they could for them.

Being frozen had been terrifying at first. Not being able to move, and being unsure if anybody else still could. But eventually, Astoria had realised that nobody was coming to kill her- or the four eleven year olds she’d been mustering- while she was stuck in place. Suddenly, almost as it had begun, the lack of movement left her. She was able to continue the step she had been frozen in, and the students with her were able to as well. She wanted to find out what had happened, but she didn’t know if the battle was still happening, so she hardened her features and insisted that the young students continue as they had been.

Cinnia Valkyrie
Knife in one and hand her wand in the other, Cinnia had been fighting through what enemies she could, and although she remained focused on the task, she was also trying to find her sister. They had lost one another after the students had left the Great Hall and although she knew that Soraya could take care of herself, she feared that something could have happened. Her blade was slicing across the throat of a faceless attacker when everything around her froze. She couldn’t move, but it appeared they could not either.

That faceless man now had a face in her mind, the only thing she had seen for countless years.. or was it decades? She knew every plain of his face, and every spec of colour in his eyes. And when she felt movement returning to her, most unexpectedly after so long, she almost felt bad as her newly reanimated body continued it’s action. Dull eyes now met hers and she pushed the man to the ground, instantly returning to her previous offensive stance, ready for another if they were to come.

Elisa Erben
Laureth was going to kill her! She knew it. She had been right beside her older sister, who was distracted, before she’d slipped away with a few other students who had thought they would be able to help. Elisa didn’t know who they had managed to get the port key to Hogwarts, but Laureth would have noticed her absence too late. She felt bad to have used her sister’s lack of vision against her, to get away when her other sight was taking over. Now that she was weaving amongst the fighters, she wished that she had stayed. That she could get back to Laureth so that her saviour could protect her again.

She ended up with a group of younger Hogwarts students, trying to both stay safe and help where they could. When their world stopped, she was in the middle of assisting a fallen victor to their feet. After a period of time that she couldn’t fathom, the spell that had been cast lifted and the person’s hand slipped from her small grip. Muttering an apology, she reached out quickly with both hands and helped them up before turning and running on, confused and afraid.

Lavender Brown
Lavender had woken to the cheers in the Room of Requirement, sitting up from where she had been laying on one of the many hammocks that the room had provided. Her sleep-blurred gaze took in her surroundings, seeing a number of people who had been missing for months right there in front of her. She smiled a little despite the cold feeling in her stomach. Something was not right, even with the return of the Chosen One.

She had been right. The battle that had followed was nothing short of horrific, and she had fought alongside her friends for some time. It had been while her back was turned, focused on another duel, that she had felt sharp nails dig into her upper arms. It was both a blur and as clear as day as within a moment, she was on the ground, the back of her head colliding with the stone floor of the courtyard. Someone with a disfigured face was holding her there, and no matter how hard she struggled, the man.. thing was stronger. Lavender couldn’t get free from the grip on her arms and the weight of the being on top of her. Nothing could have prepared her for the pain of sharp, animalistic teeth bearing down into her neck, just above her collarbone. Teeth, claws and hands tore at her skin, her screams becoming muffled by blood pooling in her mouth.

Then she heard a yell and the man, if one could call him that, was blasted away from her. She wanted to get up, but she couldn’t. She wanted to help, but she could hardly even stay away. Just as she was slipping from consciousness, the sounds of spells and screams silenced and although she had finally given in to the darkness, she could not quite reach it.

Lavender stayed, silent and bloody on the ground, only just conscious for an inconceivable amount of time. She didn’t know what was going on- if she was dead. Until sound slowly returned to her, though they were less frenzied and more.. confused? Just as she had hoped for so long ago, she slipped into unconsciousness, unsure if she was dying and even more unsure if she cared anymore.

Nelle Rosier
Nelle had remained for the battle, though she had stayed out of the action for the most part. If anybody knew how to hold her cards close and wait patiently, it was Dannella Rosier. So she waited, watching and participating as little as possible. Her only concern was that of her family, and as she had yet to see any of them she had set out in search. She hadn’t managed to locate any of her family when her world came to a standstill. She couldn’t walk, or blink or yell.

She counted for the first two months, the days as they past by the window. But eventually she came to not care. Some of the time was fast, while at other times it was painfully slow. Nelle wanted to know what had happened, but for now she couldn’t find anything out. Until life began to seep back into her body and her surroundings. As soon as Nelle could move, she continued in her search for her siblings, unsure if they were even still in the castle before, let alone after all of the time that had passed.

[Severus Snape]

Severus
When Harry Potter had entered the Great Hall to face him, Severus had known that the battle that was about to start would throw his whole world into darkness. Months of pretending to be in charge of the school while in truth only trying to prevent the most damage from befalling the students had left their mark and he felt old far beyond his years. The death of his friend and mentor at his own hands had marked the beginning of a consistent downwards spiral in his life and without the support of his wife, he might have sunken into complete despair.

Seeing his own children fight against him, seeing the hatred in their eyes was the hardest to bear, but he had not been able to tell them about his true role in the war. For the greater Good, he had to keep quiet till the last possible moment. In the end, Albus’ plans had been thwarted by the curse taking hold, freezing them in time.

With a shuddering breath, Severus pulled himself to his feet from where he had been lying in a puddle of his own blood. Someone must have hit him with the Sectumsempra curse if he had to judge from his injuries and for a moment, he was outraged that again, someone had used his own spell against him. Then he took a look around him and saw the destruction the battle had brought over the castle, his heart sinking as his brain kept telling him that the chances of his whole family surviving were rather slim.

Stumbling through the debris and bodies, some still alive, many long dead, Severus’ dark eyes kept scanning the area for his children and his wife. Suddenly, he spied a familiar black shock of hair and he quickly levitated the deceased Death Eater off his son. “Mio!” he called out and kneeled beside him, running his wand over the injured young man to heal him.


Mio
Mio had been one of the first to jump into the battle, his friends as always right next to him and he had fought not only to protect his school and friends, but also because he wanted to be the one to get to his father. The night Dumbledore died, something had died in him as well and he had vowed to himself that he would make his father pay for betraying his trust. A whole year, he had to keep silent, helping to rebuild the DA and training in preparation of the war, but when the battle finally started, he was ready to kill. A few times, he thought he caught a glimpse of the man, but he was always diverted before he could get to him. When the curse plunged them into immobility, Mio had been dueling one of the death eaters and the last thing he remembered was something collapsing on top of him.

“Mio!” he heard someone call his name and his first instinct was to reach out for the familiar presence before he realized that it was his father and Mio quickly pushed backwards, hatred and suspicion in his eyes. “You!” he spat, fumbling for his wand, but his father was faster, summoning it into his hand. “Calm down. Where are your siblings?” Severus asked, trying to hide the pain in his voice. “Oh so you care? You didn’t seem to when …” “Not, now. I will explain later. We need to find your sisters and your mother.” Severus got up and pulled his son along with him, returning the wand to the boy. Mio relaxed slightly, feeling safer with his father against his will and he followed, his worry for his family overruling his hatred for now.


Evan and Ferox
The day of the battle had been the best of Evan’s life. Finally he could jump straight into the battle, killing everyone that stood against him and not surprisingly, there were a lot of them. Both sides lost many soldiers, but Evan paid them no mind, as long as his brother was safe by his side. Ferox had not wanted to join the battle in the first place. It was not his war they were fighting, he couldn’t care less for Voldemort or Harry Potter, but family ties always overruled everything and knowing that his brother and Evan’s children were fighting were enough motivation to send him to Hogwarts as well. When Damien had fallen, Ferox went almost insane from the feeling of loss. They had been together since they were children and now his lover had been ripped away from him by some demented soul that dared to raise his wand against him. It had taken less than a second for Ferox to rip the other man to shreds, but even the blood and gore running from his hands had not helped his loss. It only provoked him to fight harder to protect the rest of his family.

When the curse lifted, Evan shook his head, blinking down at some young woman whom he had been dueling and with a viscous grin he drove his dagger into her heart, ending her miserable life while Ferox took the time to look around, checking their surroundings for any immediate danger. “Stop, Evan. The battle is over…” he said in a deadly calm voice. He had no idea how long they were frozen in time, but continuing the fight was not important any longer. Walking to his twin, he pulled him up and started for the castle. “We need to find your children.” He muttered which finally got Evan to lose the murderous glint in his eyes.

From afar they saw a young woman who seemed to be searching as well and Evan let out a shout and leapt towards her, Ferox close on his heels. “Nelle!” Evan pulled her into a hug, franticalled checking her for injuries, but she seemed to be quite alright. “Thank Merlin, you’re alive. Have you seen your brother?” he asked her.


Amatus, Lezar and Azrael
The only reason why the three boys were at the castle, fighting alongside each other was Junis. The young witch had returned to the castle to fight with her friends and Azrael had followed his girlfriend as he would follow her anywhere, even to death if he had to. Amatus and Lezar had joined in because Elena had not wanted to leave her brother alone and so all five of them had partaken in the battle, although they mostly stayed in the background, only fighting off anyone who got close enough to hurt them, no matter what side they belonged to.

“Junis!” “Where is she? Look for her, damnit!” “We can move again!” “Let’s calm down, children.” “WHERE IS SHE?!” “SILENCE!” Azrael pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head to silence the voices in his head. “Azrael, Junis is here!” Lezar lightly touched his friend’s shoulder and pointed towards a cleft in the castle where two girls were huddled together, Amatus protectively crouching in front of them. “They are alright, but what the hell happened?” the other boy asked and Azrael walked over to quickly check on his girlfriend. “We were frozen, some sort of spell.” He muttered distractedly, pulling Junis into his arms.


Thanatos
The battle had been harder than he could have ever imagined and although he had been trained well, Thanatos had found it incredibly difficult to hold himself against the onslaught of order members and students that had stayed to fight against them. For a long time, he had tried to stay close to his sisters, but in the end, he had lost sight of them.

Shakily, he pulled himself to his feet and looked around, holding a hand to his head were a long and deep gash was still bleeding and he quickly mumbled a healing charm to close the wound. Then he started to search for his siblings and friends, always staying away from the other people that were slowly waking up as well.


Sithon
There had been no question about whether he would fight or not and after training with the DA for a whole year, Sithon had not hesitated for a second before joining his friends in the battle. He had taken quite a few injuries, but he had taken down quite a lot enemies as well, always looking out to protect Violet whom he was fighting with side by side. When the curse forced them into immobility, he had been tackling her to the ground to get her out of the way of a curse which barely missed them.

The first thing he did upon finding himself able to move, was knock out the Death Eater that had been dueling them and then he quickly bent over the Slytherin girl, lightly touching her cheek. “Hanna! Wake up, princess, please!” His large green eyes stared at his friend, fear and hope battling inside of them.

Selena
When Minerva had chased Severus from Hogwarts, he had called his wife immediately to let her know that the final battle ad started and Selena had wasted no time in getting to the school, the place she had once called a home and which was now a home to her children. She had arrived just in time to join in the forces driving the death eaters back, though she had seen nothing of Severus while she fought the dark side and healed the light. Occasionally, she saw one of her children and although she was scared for their life, Selena was also proud that all of her children had stayed to fight. Before the charm froze everything, she saw a red light speed towards her, but she was too late to raise a shield and so the spell hit her in the stomach just as she became immobile.

She could feel herself dying; her life’s essence was slowly leaving her body through a long wound on her abdomen where a death eater had managed to hit her with a curse. Despite her expertise in healing spells, she had failed to close the gash due to the dark nature of the spell and she knew that she had only minutes left before she would join many of her comrades beyond the veil. Grasping her wand in a shaking hand, she summoned every memory of her children and husband to conjure her patronus one last time and send it off to Severus, begging him to come quickly.
 
Violet
Although they had been waiting for the day to come, the beginning of the battle came quite sudden for Violet. The whole year, she had been trying to negotiate between her brother and her father, without any success. Mio was filled with hurt and anger due to their father’s murder of Albus Dumbledore and Violet just wanted to tell him the whole truth. But her mother had made her promise not do to that, knowing that Mio was not the greatest actor. Still it hurt, to see the people she loved so estranged. When the battle started, Violet was terrified to lose someone close to her and was glad that at least Sithon stuck with her throughout it, even saving her life from the killing curse that was sent her way.

The scream that had been frozen on her lip tore free and her eyes snapped open to look right at her friend. “Sithon!” she exclaimed and threw her arms around him, sobbing into his shoulder. She felt confused, scared and relieved all at once and just wanted it all to be over, but she had to make sure that her family was safe first, so she quickly got up and took her friend’s hand, looking around for someone she knew.

Violet stopped dead in her tracks when she laid eyes on her mother. She looked deathly pale and blood was smeared all over her pale blue robe. “Mum!” she cried out and fell to the ground beside her, shaking hands putting pressure on the wound, trying to stop the blood flow. “Mum, no!” she whimpered, tears welling up in her eyes. This could not be happening! Not her mother!

Selena smiled sadly at her daughter and placed a hand on her cheek. “I’m sorry, Violet. I’m so sorry.” She breathed a kiss on Violet’s cheek and pulled her into an embrace. “You have to be strong now, the battle might be over, but the war is not.” Violet shook as she cried into her mother’s arms.
 
 
Medusa&Tatsu
Medusa had been fighting with the other teachers to protect the school she had come to call her home. Her true heart would always belong to Wolfclaw, but Hogwarts was now in her heart as well and her daughter had grown up here into a young warrior. Medusa had pulled Tatsu aside before the battle started and told her to take down as many as she could and then they had both jumped into the fight with a grim smile on their face. At one point, Tatsu had run into Amatus and his friends, but they were separated again as the battle went on and by the time the charm froze them, Tatsu was dueling a death eater with one of her friends.

The spell that had been locked in her wand was released and knocked out her opponent. Tatsu sank to her knees, shaking. To her it felt as if only seconds had passed, but somehow she knew it had been much longer. Looking around, she spotted her mother kicking a male death eater where it hurt and she quickly rushed over to her.
 
Luna&Neville&Ian
Neville had led Dumbledore’s army into the battle, always fighting right at the front with a grim expression on his face. He did not feel scared; he did not even feel worried. A strange feeling of calmness had settled over him and he was ready to die for his friends and the school. He had lost his parents to this madman already; he would not stand back in fear and watch something like that happen again. Left and right, he saw people fall, people from both sides, but he barely spared them a glance. Now was not the time for mourning. Now was the time to fight!

Ian had been anxiously awaiting this battle for over a year now. Since Snape had killed Dumbledore to be honest, everyone had known that it would come down to this. Yet it did not take away the fear that took hold of his heart when he thought about his friends dying. He tried his best to protect the younger students from harm, barely paying attention to his own injuries though at one point, he had must have been healed by someone as his left leg had stopped bleeding so badly.

Smoke, darkness and despair was making the air thick; filling it with a feeling of hopelessness that seemed to swallow them all. In the midst of it, Luna stood with her pale grey eyes and long blond hair, for once without the dreamy smile on her face. At one point she had tended to a young Hufflepuff boy who had been buried under a large stone which had fallen off somewhere. He had died right under her hands, leaving behind only sadness and the hollow feeling that whoever would be victorious in this battle, no one would actually be winning anything.

The curse took them all by surprise, but just as quickly as it had come upon them, it had left as well and Neville stumbled over to Luna to help her up, rubbing some blood off his face as he did so. She looked around, healing another deep cut on Ian’s arm and together they stood in the middle of a battlefield with people slowly waking and even more lying dead on the ground.
 
Elena &Junis&Syrinx
The whispers of a battle had reached even Czechia and Elena had been forced to leave the protection of her home to come to her brother’s aid. Never again would she let anyone hurt her family. No one would take her siblings from her again. Not if she could prevent it. Upon her arrival with Syrinx and her friends, they had met with the sight of hundreds of people battling each other and it had taken them longer than she had cared to admit to find her brother and his girlfriend in the midst of it. When the spell hit them, they had been taking cover in a small cleft, Amatus right in front of them and then for a long while, time stood still.

Junis shakily got to her feet when she could move again and fell right into Azrael’s arms, clutching at his robes while she tried to focus her mind again. Beside her, Elena had moved to her boyfriend as well, leaning against him while Syrinx sat down with a sigh. “What did just happen?” she wondered out loud, but no one seemed to hear her.

Remus
He shook his head looking out as people began to wake "I dont know..but they might need us" he said looking down at Morana. He kissed the crown of her head "Remember my little bird, this changes nothing." He took a few steps forwards and threw back his head howling deeply his voice calling to all the wolves whom had been trapped by the curse. He heard weak howls in return and he took off down the hill.

Marvolo
The time for betrayal was nearly upon them, Marvolo turned and spotted Harry making his way across the courtyard, raising her wand she stunned someone aiming to attack him and she laughed as his head whipped to look at her. He grinned a small smile at his godfather's former wife and ran to her, "Aunt Marv" he panted "here" he pulled out of his bag Slytherin's locket and ring. "My ring" she murmured fondly she took the items from him and slid them onto her finger and around her neck. "Thank you harry. be safe." She turned throwing herself into the battle only moments later to freeze.

She never thought she would wake again, she stood in a limbo that burned through her conciousness. She knew she was alive but not how, she watched season's pass around her felt winter give way to spring but nothing. Suddenly her body filled with warmth and she felt the curse lifting, her eyes moved and then hands followed suit. With a shiver she slowly began to move her limbs and lowered her wand. Looking around at those surrounding her she frowned a bit "Death eaters" she called loudly "To me!"

Hermione
Hermione looked around at the confused faces surrounding her, "The curse" she said to those closest to her. "I read about it in Hogwarts A History. but i never..i didnt.." she trailed off. Harry rolled his arms loosening his muscles "Didn't what Hermione?" he said with a frown "I never expected it to work."

Dellen
Dellen felt as if she had woken from a deep restful sleep, she could still taste the blood of her victims on her lips. She wore armor that was splashed with red and turning she jumped down the side of the castle her boots skidding along the battlments and landed besides marvolo.

Scorpius
Scorpius had been training with his comrades when word reached the of the curse breaking. He sheathed his weapons and apparated to the hillside, landing he caught sight of his father's best friend. "Uncle Blaise" he said moving to stand beside him "its really happening" he breathed softly. Hogwarts was alive.

[Morana Gaunt]

MORANA

She closed her eyes as he kissed her head and opened them once again as she could feel him leaving in the distance. They had work to do. And she couldn't afford storming down, saving people. It would mean she fought 50 years for nothing. 'Maryia! My beautiful princess! Get your siblings and your aunt, meet me as soon as you can,' she send a thought to her daughter, knowing she will know who Morana is and where to find her.

SOPHIA and MARCUS

Sophie was in the middle of sendingcurse towards somebody, when she froze. Now, suddenly, it did not make any sense to send any curse at all, so she felt a little awkward when it hit her opponent. Looking around, she felt confused. She first reached Marcus and grabbed his hand, looking for their sister and aunt. All she wanted at that very moment, was to find her family. Hopefully all of them. Including her mother.

LILITH

It took Lilith by surprise that she couldn't move. It took her by surprise even more, when she could move again. "Lucian!" she called for her beloved, but before she could do anything else, she was summoned by Marvolo. Listening to her orders, she joined her leader, her eyes nervously searching for him.

ALASKA

Alaska didn't come to fight that day. She was just pissed and came mainly to give Xanthos hard time. She didn't care about much, but the idea of him being Death Eater and in the front line as a bonus, that made her angry. Why did he bother to be with her, just to leave her like this? But as the curse fell, she did not think that way anymore. All she wanted was to hug him, kiss him, be with him. Because all she felt was, that he was alive and so was she. Closing the distance etween them, she slammed into his chest, holding him close. "You are fucking idiot," she hissed her first words after who knows how long.

[Xanthos Gamp]

Xanthos had pledged himself to Marvolo years ago and so as soon as she called for her army, he apparated to her side, fighting in the final battle at Hogwarts, a school he barely knew and against people he had never met before. Nevertheless, he used his calm and strength to take down many opponents, all the time looking out for his family and fiancée who, for reasons he still did not understand, had joined him at Hogwarts. He had told her to stay at home and let him deal with this on his own, but she stubbornly followed and when he had found out that she was present, Xanthos had already been engaged in a duel.

Still, he was deadly pissed off and wanted nothing more than to tell her that, and yet, when the curse was finally lifted, he only wanted to make sure she was safe and quickly took her into his arms, holding her close to his chest, his bloody face buried in her hair. "And you are the most stubborn woman, I ever met. And yet ... " he pulled back slightly to look down at her, his dark eyes softening slightly. "...I love you. Will you finally do me the honour of becoming my wife when this is all over?" he asked her quietly. Xanthos had proposed years ago already, but somehow, it had never felt right to take the final step even after she had turned of age. Somehow, Xanthos had always felt that she was still not ready to give herself to him completely and that was what he wanted.

The silence around them did not last long, as everywhere people were slowly raising to their feet again and Xanthos looked over to his leader when she called for them. “I must join her.” He said calmly, his eyes going back to Alaska.

Marvolo
Death eaters began to move to her side and Marvolo looked out at the others as more came. She gripped her wand tightly watching the Order as the others looked back at her, she dared them to attack after all this time. She watched as a wizard raised his wand and before she knew it the killing curse was thrown her way. With two strides she shoved two students out of the way and using her wand she deflected the curse and it rebounded off a statue shattering it, holding her wand at the ready she prepared to fire a curse.

Hermione
"NO!" the scream ripped from Hermione's throat as someone fired a curse at a death eater. She dashed between the two armies holding up her hands "you have to stop! we were cursed! dont you see!? if you continue to fight then the curse will come back! this time it may never fade we may never get out of here!" she shouted to the two. Eyes fell on her and then she looked back at the death eater who nodded her understanding and lowered her wand.

Mariya
Mariya heard her mother's voice in her head and almost screamed with joy, she looked on as her aunt prepared to duel but then sighed with reielf as she stepped back. Grabbing her aunts arm she said "Mummy is here..shes calling for us.." Marvolo's eyes lit up and she nodded. "Death eaters, go to ground. wait for my call. Go before he finds us here. before anyone else knows we are alive." her voice came out as a commanding hiss and at her orders death eaters began to dissaparate all over the place, some with looks of releif on there faces. Marvolo walked down the court yard to Xanthos and clapped a hand on his shoulder "you fought well. thank you." she said to him "Are you both alright?" Mariya ran down the courtyard to Sophie and Marcus and jumped on her sister and her twin brother with such ferocity they fell over.

Amara
Amara woke from the spell with a jolt, her leg was injured and bleeding and she hissed as pain overtook her. Ripping part of her robe she tied it around the leg and then conjured a crutch with her wand. She limped along the courtyard and spotted her love talking to others. "Nyx!" she called.

[Idie Benton]

Idie watched from her hiding spot all the people that slowly began to unfreeze. They all ran for their loved ones and that made her sad. She did not have many loved ones there. She then remebered she had someone here. And then she saw him. "ATTICUS!" She ran to her brother and jumped into his arms just as he unfroze. Atticus held her as she cried into her brothers chest. "Youre ok..." Her brother just held her and carried her over to a table and continued to hold her as she cried

[Jocelyn Immorta]

Jocelyn and Declan.

Jocelyn was fighting alongside with her twinbrother Declan. They were summoned to fight for Marvolo, well Jocelyn was but Declan insisted on coming too. Jocelyn fought mostly against adults, two teachers when suddenly there was a loud bang and Jocelyn turned to Declan raising her eyebrows, when they both froze.

Jocelyn was still facing Declan when she could slowly move again, she immediately stepped closer to him. "What had happened?" She looked around. Declan pulled his arm around his sister and also looked around. "I don't know but you should go and check up on the little ones. I'll stay here and find out what happened." Declan then heard a girl scream about a curse and listened in. Jocelyn walked inside towards the Ravenclaw tower where she hid her two children, Heath and Shadow. When she reached the tower, she could smile as she saw them both sleeping peacefully.

Rachel

Rachel had been saving first years and bringing the ones who were really wounded to a safe place. It was a tough couple of years for Rachel after what her father turned to the Dark Lord, Professor Dumbledore's death and then her father becoming a headmaster. She was really confused about and didn't understand where her father was standing in this war. Rachel was protecting a first year from a death eater, she had just cursed him when they both froze.

As Rachel could move again, she widened her eyes and jumped out of the way as the counter curse from the Death Eater she was fighting before a curse froze them. Suddenly the Death Eater disappeared and Rachel was searching for her family members.

[David Shuter]

David
It had been at the end of his 5th year he had died. A part of him had died at least With Lambert killing his mother, David had lost his joking attitude. He had become more serious, throwing himself into his Animagus transformation with his friends. After that had been completed he had cheered up a little, however that was when Snape had killed Dumbledore. Snape.. the Father of his best friend, the family had had stayed with after his mother had been killed. Legally he had been left to his only magical relative, Anita. Yet She had been busy with her own family, so he had stayed with the Snapes.

Then the year that Snape was headmaster, David had spent helping to rebuild the DNA and train for what he knew would happen. He was Part of the Order, he knew Harry was off doing a mission left to him by Dumbledore, and he knew it would end in one final battle. When the time had come, he fought with everything he had. His wand, his fists, his teeth, his claws. Everything. Then it hit.

The Curse finally lifted. Whatever it really did David had no idea. Right now though he didn't care. "Lavender" He whispers softly. He had left her for the fighting, as they were already outnumbered and could not afford to have any able bodied fighters stay behind. Now though.. now though he did not care. He ran through the battle back to where she lay. When he arrived he took her hand in one of his hands and  rubbed her forehead with his thumb, his wand now discarded by her side. "Lavender hun, how do you feel?" He whispered.. his head was kept on a pivot, for anyone who dared try to get at Lavender and him were going to die.. he was done going easy on these bastards.

He didn't care that Lavender was bitten by Greyback..other than wanting to kill the werewolf. If she ended up being a werewolf..he did not care. He was an Animagus now. They could still spend full moons together. Heck his other friends could join them. Mio..Ian..Artemis. They were all animals now. In more ways than one. He then slowly lent down and pressed her lips to hers.

Ethan
What purpose had Ethan had since his brother Robert's death? His father had stopped making music, and Ethan had stopped being social. He had not done much to improve on that since, save for working with the DA up until the last year. He had spent that one on the run, knowing the other option was azkaban for 'stealing someones magic'. The idea of that alone almost made Ethan laugh... almost. he might not be a Ravenclaw, but he knew it was impossible for those who were not magically capable to use magic..even if they had a wand.

When His coin from the DA heat up in his pocket.. he knew it must have been time to fight, and he was not about to sit around and let others fight this war, so he aperated at once to the Hogs head, giving one nod at the barman whom Ethan had met a few times, having spent most of his last 2 years at hogwarts in that bar, away from the happy go lucky people at the three broomsticks.

He had fought his best during the battle, all the while keeping a look out for Robert's exe girlfriend.. convinced it was her who had killed Robert. he however got hit in the head do to being blasted back into a wall, and had black out.

He had no idea about any curse or anything, for he woke up when someone not so far away from him started to talk. He looked to see it was Shuter talking to his girlfriend Lavender Brown, who apparently was injured as he was. His head killed him, and his vision was spotty at best. He groaned once before slipping back into blackness. He dreamt of Robert being by his side as he drifted in and out of consciousness.. which was probably crueler than death.

Zacharias
He had been Pureblood. He was safe. As Safe as the Heir of Helga Hufflepuff could be in a world that was now majorly Slytherin based. With The Heir of Slytherin now running the world behind the scenes, any one who was not Slytherin were treated terribly. Most of Zack's house had been absent this year, for his house was known to take the most Muggle Borns, and any who were smart had gone on the run... any who were not now had a cell in azkaban. Yet at least Zack was protected by his Pureblood.. even if he was no longer held to the same standard of popularity as he once had.

He had not openly defied Snape's rule, doing what he was told and for once in his life, not calling attention to himself. He had however, had enough when they had gotten back from easter break. He did not like harming any first years with the cruciatus curse, and had enough of doing it as ordered by the carrows. That had meant he got tortured himself, which changed him even more. He had become a very quite person, only spoken when spoken to.

He however let his furosity through when the Chosen One had returned to school and he had started the battle to end all battles. He took his newfound skill of toruring and used it to break death eater after death eater.. marked or not marked. Then the Curse had taken hold

Zack had no idea what excactly had happened all he knew is that... well he knew nothing. he looked down to see his mutiple small injuries were still there.. nothing had changed.. except the whole battle was confussed. Zack didn't know what exactly to do. Was the battle over? Were they going to continue fighting? What the heck was going on... what the heck had happened?

Zack looked around to see what others were doing, to take some pointers on what he should do. Of course later he would just HAVE to brag and say he had lead the hogwarts defenders to whatever course they had taken..

Annabelle
The world was better now. The Dark Lord rulled, and Slytherin profitted. The Greengrasses whom were Slytherins got along just fine. Royalty they had been. Any guy would give their left arm to be with the Greengrass sisters. Of course, she did not ask that of guys. She knew the power she had held over them, and used that to her advantage.

Snape was the best thing that had happened to Hogwarts. Him and the Carrows gave Slytherin what they had been denied in all the years that Dumbledore had been Headmaster. Slytherin had been the worst of the worst olf the houses, always having to fight tooth and nail for everything they got..and even then they had been denied things.

So of course, when things had been going well for them, Potter and his merry gang of rebels had to show up and ruin it all. Snape had been sacked..basically. The Carrow's taken care of, and the Slytherin's escorted to the dungeons. It was there they had been.. or most of them had been, when everything froze.

As quick as it started.. it had stopped. Annabelle was one of the only remaining Slytherin's left in the dungeon, for she did not want to fight her own mother, whom she knew was working alongside the Order and the Defenders of Hogwarts. So it had been there she stayed, twiddling her thumbs as she waited for the battle to be over.

She had not known what this curse was, or why it had happened, just that it had. She would get her answers soon.. as soon as it was safe to walk around the castle without having to take a side. The Side she wanted to take, or Side with her family. This was a difficult position for her indeed. The only possible solution was to sit and be absolutely useless.

Kinglsey
Kinglsey had worked as long as he could under the new regime. However he had let Voldemort's name slip, and was on the run. He tried his best to help defend the innocents and muggles in this time though. However he could not do all he wanted to for fear the death eaters would catch up with him..and even he could not take on a large group of Death Eaters multiple times without being killed or overwhelmed. Even the bravest and strongest wizard's still fell.

Mad Eye Moody was a prime example of this. he had put half the death eaters alive today into azkaban, killing very few of them. He had been a prime Auror and a great leader of the Order When Dumbledore died. He still fell that night when they were escorting Harry Potter to the Weasley's. Life and Death was nothing more than chance and luck. Luck had not been on Moody's side.. and if Kinglsey put himself in harms way unnecessarily he would have met the same fate.

However Harry was making a stand in Hogwarts, and it was his duty to lead the Order to victory.. or defeat. He had joined the battle, and barely got a scratch in it. He had been dueling a random Death Eater in the astronomy tower when everything froze.

He had not been prepared for his limbs to be freed, but he adapted quickly. While the inexperienced Death Eater had been looking around confussed, Kinglsey flicked his wand twice. Once to disarm the Death eater, the other to blast him off the tower. "So Be it" he said deeply, knowing this particular Death Eater was now dead. He then set off, fighting his way to find some of his friends and fellow defenders.. to make sure they were alright.

His first target.. was Kaitlyn Becket. The Young woman who had been one of the first to join the Order when it as brought back to life after Voldemort had returned. She was a fellow Auror, and Kinglsey felt he was responsible for her. It took him a few minutes before he saw her dueling two female death eaters by herself. Kinglsey was quick on the draw and froze the first with a spell, leaving Kaitlyn to deal with the last one.

He said across the short space of emptiness. "We must gather with the others, or else All shall be lost." His deep voice resonated with power as he left to find more people. It was up to her if she joined him or not.

Kailtyn
She was muggleborn. She had never really thought about that since leaving Hogwarts, for it had not effected her in her carreer as an Auror. What was more at the forefront was her sexuality. It was hard to work with some of the hotter Aurors, for sometimes they had to work really closely.. like REALLY closely. It got hard.. but never once did the fact her parents had been muggles influence her life.

That did not last, as once Voldemort had taken over, it was deemed Muggleborns had stolen their magic, and had to be placed on a registry. Kaitlyn knew that the Death Eaters knew she was part of the Order, and nothing was going to stop them arresting her. So She ran. She spent months abroad, until she got word from the Order that they were making a stand at Hogwarts, and had returned.

The Battle had been tough, and she had suffered a series of scratched a bruises. All in all she was a mess. She doubted even the lonliest of the lonely men would even look at her now, nor did she care. She was making a stand. Being muggleborn was not bad and deserved the rights that Halfbloods and purebloods got.

That was all great, until she was dueling a woman, who wasn't that bad looking.. and then they were frozen.

Then her limbs were freed, and they stared at eachother for a long moment. Then the spells started flying again. This grew worse as the woman's friend joined them and she was defending herself on two fronts. It wasn't looking good for Kaitlyn Becket. She was outmatched, yet she was holding on well.

Then a Spell came out of no where and hit the second woman, distracting the first long enough for Kate to use the same spell on her. Panting, Kate lowered her wand and looked at the man who had saved her. Kingsley Shacklebolt. Fellow Order Member and Fellow Auror. She nodded in thanks. She agreed with what she said "Then maybe we can figure what the hell just happened" She then followed off close behind him, watching their backs.

Jack
He had gotten the ultimate revenge on David Shuter. He had gone to Shuter's house in england alongside his longtime girlfriend Syrnix Rowle, in hopes to kill him and rid himself of such a tie to his muggle days. However once they had arrived, Shuter's reactions told him there was a better way to hurt him, other than Death. With the help of Syr.. he killed David's last remaining parent, and left.

Since then he had been happy. More so with each passing year. First the muggle loving Dumbledore had been killed... and then The Dark Lord had rose to power. That year with Voldemort in power had been probably the best of Jack's life. However the smile was turned upside down when word reached him from his parents that Voldemort was attacking Hogwarts, for the Chosen one was making a stand, and he needed all hands on deck. Jack left school at once and joined in the battle.

Try as he might to find David, he could not. He killed a fair few students, some of whom he had met back during the triwizard tournament. However, all too soon, they were hit by a curse.. and all was frozen.

Jack was surprised.. when things went back to normal. He fired a quick curse at the defender he was fighting, and then used a quick spell to track Syrnix, for he wanted to make sure she was okay.. and that she had also been hit by the spell. He was bleeding from a wound on his arm, and was dirty, but otherwise he was fine.

When he found her he slid down the wall beside her. "Syr. Do you know what the hell just happened?" he asked roughly after he placed a rough kiss on her lips. He was not sure everything  that had happened, and what evils she herself had faced.

[Rider Gamp]

Rider.

Rider could move again, he unfroze still with his two finger in his mouth, whistling for the wolves, halfway he froze and now that he was melting in a way, the wolves, Larentia and Mahlek almost jumped him. "Hey, easy there! Larentia, go find Dahlia, go!" Larentia ran away and Rider looked at the open wound on his arm. He growled. "Bloody bastard! That was my throwing arm!" Rider ripped a piece of his robe and covered the wound. He then looked around, surprised that the fighting had stopped.

Elijah.

Elijah was brought inside, he was badly injured at his leg when the glass dome fell over Hogwarts. Leaning on one of the Wolfclaw students. He really wanted to fight but it was better if he could just get healed and back in action again.

The student dropped him and he shouted at him, he leaned against the door post to catch his breath after he was dropped.

[Nyx Mulciber]

Nyx
It had been a vicious battle and for once, Nyx had to stop playing the delicate flower to show her true strength as she fought against students and order members for the victory of her side. At one point she had been hit with a curse that had sent her crashing through a window on the first floor and only due to her fast reflexes had she managed to soften her fall before she broke her neck.

Now that the spell was lifted, Nyx carefully looked about herself, trying to find a familiar face. She ran into a few members of her side, but none of them seemed to know anything about what had happened. Her heart leapt in her chest when she heard the voice of her love and Nyx threw her arms around her, relief making her knees go weak. “Amara! I couldn’t find you, I’m so relieved that you’re alive!” she breathed in the familiar scent of the other girl for a moment before pulling back again. They could not afford to let down their guards just yet. “You’re injured.” She noticed with worry and winced at the blood that was covering Amara’s leg. “Will you be able to continue walking? We should withdraw for now.”
 
Syrinx

She looked up from her place on the ground when someone got near, but she quickly relaxed her stance when she noticed her boyfriend. “Jack!” she kissed him back, putting all the emotions she felt into the kiss. She was just glad that all her friends had made it out alive and she leaned against Jack’s chest with a sigh. “I don’t know, but I hope that the battle is over now. I’m tired of fighting.” She whispered quietly, closing her eyes.

Idie looked around and watched everyone as she held onto Atticus' hand. She gave it a squeeze and he gave hers a squeeze as well. "I think we should go make sure everyone is ok." He spoke in a soft and gentle voice as not to scare her. She looked up and nodded, moving over to a few people (Davids group) "Hey, is everyone ok here?" She looked around, nervous being around a bunch of Gryffindors. They didnt get along very well, bet she knew Atticus would protect her

Marcus held both his sisters close, his eyes searching their surroundings. Partly for Deimos, partly because he did not feel safe here. "Guys, I am so glad you are okay," Sophie whispered to her older siblings. "We have to go. Maryia, can you get us to mom?" Marcus asked his twin in parseltongue.

She would lie if she said Xanthos didn't surprise her by how lovingly he returned her hug. Not that he did not love her. He just showed it differently, than others. Usually at least. "I would marry you right now, on this spot if I could. I can't lose you. That's why I was trying to fight you in the first place," she told him honestly and then watched him go. As death eaters started apparating away, she went confused, waiting to see if Xanthos is going to leave too. She was not going to leave without him.

David looked up when he heard a female voice. Her robes told him she was a slytherin and it was her house founders faul this was happening in the first place. it was he who chose to spawn, which lead to Voldemort being born. Without Voldemort.. David would have his mother and father back.

Yet to be asked if  everything was 'ok' made David mad. A single tear was rolling down his face as he gestured to Lavender's mangled body "What the fuck do you think Benton? Some strange curse effected everyone in Hogwarts, and we don't know what the hell happened, there is a fucking WAR going on. I am not sure any of my friends are left alive! Then there is my Girlfriend who was attacked by a werewolf, who may die, and if she does not she could very well become a werewolf! She might be shunned for being a brave woman in this shit storm!" He yelled, standing up and picking up his wand, able to hold back from cursing her. He had not seen her in the battle, on either side, which was the only reason he held back.

If she proved to be on Voldemort's side, he would protect Lavender's defenseless form with his own life. If she proved not to have fought at all, nor helped the injured, she was a coward, and had best leave before David did something he would later regret. He was an emotional wreck. For all he knew Mio, Ian, Anita and Artemis were all dead, and that the only person David had left was dying. He had nothing left to live for, so death was not something that scared him.

Jack
Jack had worried about Syrnix during the battle, but knew she could handle herself. Had it not been her who held Shuter off as he ended the pitiful excuse for a wizard's muggle filth of a mother? So he had pursued his last tie to the muggle world.. Shuter.

He had not found him obviously, and now that the curse had been lifted, he didn't care. Not enough at least to go hunting. By now he too was done with this fight. Others still fought, but he was done, unless Shuter ran past him he would not go searching, and instead wanted to make sure his girlfriend was alright.

Turned out she was. When she mentioned being tired of fighting, he nodded in agreement. "If it is.. We should leave as soon as possible. I do not want to become a prisoner of those who defy the Dark Lord's rule."

Idie looked at David and then turned to her brother who gave her a look to remain calm. She took a deep breath and turned back to David and Lavender. "I can check on her." She leaned beside Lavender and looked over her injuries. It appeared she would live, but she couldnt tell for sure. "It looks like she will survive. I cant be absolutely sure though. Im sorry this happened to her, David." She went and stood beside Atticus who held her in his arms

David growled when she bent down to examine and pointed his wand at her, for if she even tried anything he would curse her into oblivion. She gave him basically the same diagnosis he had inferred himself. "Thanks A lot, I had thought she was just faking it" He said, his voice dripping with Sarcasm. he would have said more, but he heard foot steps approaching quickly and twisted to meet them, Wand raised, curse on him lips.

Kingsley and Kaitlyn
They had been walking past a window where they saw one of the Order members, David near a broken body of what had to be his girlfriend, but the way he was kissing her lips. They had changed coarse at once and gone for them.

As they aproached David had turned and pointed his wand at them. Niether pointed it back. "It is I, Kingsley." Kinglsey said in his deep voice. Kaitlyn nodded and added "And I, Kaitlyn. David, are you hurt?"

While Kaitlyn eyed up the two students that David had obviously been arguing with moments before, Kinglsey rushed forward and knealt by Lavender and examined her body.

Kaitlyn then walked forward and inspected one of David's wounds, being all motherly worried when she was not in any way related to David. "Are you okay?" She said it in a way then made sure he knew she meant physically, not mentally, for he knew none of them were okay mentally.

Kinglsey stood up and said 'She will live if we can get her to a healer quickly. You two" He pointed at the boy and girl "Take her in between you two, be careful, use a spell or something.Try the levitating spell. David, watch our sides, Kaitlyn, watch our back. lets move." he then set off for the great hall.

David
So it was just Kaitlyn and Kingsley, fellow Order members. He lowered his wand. At Kaitlyn's first question, David shook his head "I'm fine, Lavender is not." At her Next request about his health he gently pushed Kate's hand away "I said I'm fine. I'll heal" He was unwilling to let the slytherin carry Lavender, but he understood that Kinglsey trusted him to hold out well in a fight, so she was better suited to carry the wounded. he pointed at the boy with her then at the hufflepuff not to far away from them. Ethan.. a boy from the DA. "You take him. you drop either of them and I will kill you both." He was not kidding either. He then set off with the small team they had formed

Idie nodded and grabbed her wand and began levitating Lavender as Atticus rushed over and picked up Ethan. He then went back to his David and whispered in his ear, "You ever point your wand at my sister again, I will kill you myself." He then went and walked alongside Idie careful to not drop the boy he was carrying. He kissed his sisters head who turned and smiled, careful to keep the girl levitating. "Im Idie, by the way. This is my brother Atticus." She said to Kingsley and Kaitlynn, "Were the good guys." She smiled brightly, her golden eyes shining with pride.

David,Kinglsey and Kaitlyn

David snorted at her brother's warnings. Frankly he was more than welcome to try, for he would point his wand at whoever the fuck he wanted. Especially when they were touching his wounded girlfriend without permission, and ESPECIALLY in the middle of a war. "Have fun trying" he said softly.

Kingsley did not bother looking behind himself when the girl.. Idie, said that they were the good guys. he did say "I am sure you are" While that was mostly a lie, for he was never sure now a days, he would have to trust her, at least for now. He blasted back a death eater and kept going like it was nothing.

They arrived in the great hall and David yelled "We need a Healer! Now!"

Idie lied the girl down on the floor and looked to Atticus as he placed Ethan beside her. Idie looked over the boy her brother had been carrying and something twinkled in her eye. She wasnt sure what it was, but it was definitely something. She then growled as a death eater ran toward them. She shot a stunning spell at him and then did a full body bind so he couldnt move. "Youre lucky I dont kill people." She whimepred into his ear before going to stand beside her brother
