Felix was sat hidden in a tree. He loved the darkness that surrounded him. He liked the rain more, it provided a pattern he enjoyed listening to. He closed his eyes and kept quiet. He could hear someone coming. Who though?

[Vixen Lestrange]

Forest is forbidden..... Sure, whatever.... Vixen thought to herself as she made her way through the trees. Her black combat boots makeing barely a sound as she walked softly through the brush of the forest floor. She liked it here. The low light added a sense of.... mystery..... that suted her just fine. Her choice of clothing made her a mystery just like the shadows of the forest. Black jeans and her black pea coat added to her stealthy self as she moved, gracefully through the trees. With a small sigh, she stopped at a fallen tree and leaned against it, hands in her pockets, and just enjoyed the quiet....

[Felix Shadow]

Felix looked down and saw Vixen. He dropped from the tree and landed silently. He moved with out a sound before standing 3m behind her and saying. "Who are you?"

[Vixen Lestrange]

At the sudden voice behind her, Vixen reacted on instinct. In one fluid motion, she raised her booted foot, grabbing the dagger she kept there, and spun to face the one who spoke, taking a step backwards away from him. Her dark eyes took in the young man. "Might ask you the same thing," she said, lowering her blade slightly. "Who are you?" she echoed to him.

[Felix Shadow]

As she drew her dagger he drew his and his wand. "I asked first."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen watched as he drew his wand and dagger. Slowly, she reached up to the wand that held her long dark hair up and removed it allowing her hair to fall, framing her face. "So you did.... Vixen. Vixen Lestrange....." she answered him quietly but intensely. "Now you.... Who are you?" Vixen asked again watching him closely.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix held his weapons firmly but slightly lowered. He smiled darkly. "Shadow. Felix Shadow."

[Vixen Lestrange]

"Shadow.... Like how you move....." she said, tilting her head. "Have I seen you around before?" Vixen asked, narrowing her eyes slightly. She thought his name and face were familiar, but in the low light, it was possible she was mistaken.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix smiled, then shook his head. "No, nobody ever see's me around, although...I see them..."

[Vixen Lestrange]

A small coy smile spread across Vixen's face. "Your name fits you, then, Felix. Tell me, can I lower these?" she asked moving her fingers so as to open a couple while still keeping a good grip on her wand and blade. She wasn't quite sure what to make of this one, but she didn't feel the need to keep her weapons up. At least....not at the moment....

[Felix Shadow]

Felix shrugs. "Think you can trust me?"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen's dark eyes narrowed at his question. "I trust no one fully.... But, there are some I don't trust less than others," she reasoned to him. "You had your chance to do something before if you had wanted to.... Do you trust me?" she asked.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix put his dagger away and tilted his head. "Enough not to stab you...Wouldn't call it trust though"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen watched as Felix put his dagger away, and she did the same, returning it to her boot. "I feel the same," she said smoothly. "What brings you out here, alone?" she asked, standing tall and again locking her eyes on the boy.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix smiled briefly. Then retook his blank look. "I like the dark. I like the quiet. What brings you here? On your own..." He locked eyes with her and stood properly.

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen tilted her head slightly. "In a way, the same things. I like the openness of the outside. It's less confining," she said. "Plus, it's just nice to be away from everyone and all the noise once and a while..." she added with a shrug.

[Felix Shadow]

"In the open...hmmm I guess but the tree's and fog help you stay hidden...I prefer the quiet, it helps."

[Vixen Lestrange]

"Not open in the sense of being seen. Open in the sense of not being in a cage, so to speak..." Vixen explained. "It's nice to be out where there aren't walls holding you in. Staying hidden is a bonus.... Speaking of hidden, where we were you hiding?" she asked, carefully.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix spoke with a powerful and authoritative manor "Shadows provide safety, in the Shadows I shall hide, born to hide, live to hide, my life will dwell in the Shadows as I become the Vanguard of Destruction for the dwellers of the light. I shall die as their Vanguard, I shall die in the Shadows" he then went silent and his eyes unfocused, then he refocused and looked at her.

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen raised a dark eyebrow and gave a slow nod as she heard Felix's little speach. "Uh....huh..... You are certainly one who takes their name very seriously. Although, you are right. Shadows are not just the blockage of light, but a useful tool when the darkness is needed," she said, now watching him even more closely. Vixen wasn't sure what to make of him, but he seemed....odd....

[Felix Shadow]

Felix smiled. "You realise this Darkness is fake? Its early morning, there should be light, but there isn't...."

[Vixen Lestrange]

"With all light comes darkness. Just as the trees block out the morning sun casting shadows and darkness, so, too, do things in every light also cast shadows and darkeness, figurative or real..." Vixen said with a coy grin, slipping her wand into her back jeans pocket and crossing her arms across her chest.

[Felix Shadow]

Felix pocketed his wand and everything grew lighter. "Or, darkness was a creation of another."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen glanced around them as the darkness of the shadows vanished allowing the morning sunshine to wash over where they stood. "Or the creation of another...." she echoed. Bringing her dark eyes back to Felix, she paused for a moment. "Quite a nifty trick there, boy-o. Tell me, which house do you belong to?" she asked.

"The superior one. The one that sides with the shadows. Slytherin."
