Not Torn Apart (Marvolo)

Sirius held Marvolo's hand tightly, nearly dragging her to the corridor. It was empty, as the other students were still in class. Bruce let them out earlier since they had to make their way back to the school. In one of the dark corners, he slammed her against the wall softly. Looking up to her eyes, he sighed. "Are you still pissed at me for what I did?"

She stumbled behind him and gasped as he pushed her against the wall, her eyes narrowed as he mentioned the thing between he and luna "...yes" she admitted dropping his gaze.

Sirius sighed loudly, but didn't take his eyes of her. "It doesn't exist. There's nothing between me and her..." he explained biting his lips. "You said you wanted me back...and I...felt lonely. Because I couldn't go back to you." He stated truthfully.

Her heart ached at his words "then why can't you?" she said

He closed his eyes, looking at the floor. "D-...Don't do this to me. Please, don't do this. You know I love you, but I can't just..." He sighed, shaking his head.

"I love you" she said softly "i can't just stop loving you..."

"You know why we had to be separated in the first place..." Sirius said, looking at her while he brought her chin up. "I'd marry you, if all this wasn't happening...I'd give you another child and take care of it. I would...but you know why I can't!"

She smiled at him sadly "thats why I made sure you had your Mira....I didn't want you to be sad about leaving me"

"I love her. As much as you do Bruce. Perhaps even more." He said, softly. "But I nearly left my friends for you. I asked you to marry me. You were gonna have my kid. Do you think just getting my old girlfriend back will make me forget how much I love you now?"

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Tears glistened in her eyes and she leaned into his chest hugging him tightly "I'm poisonous...I just want you happy...in the end you were miserable with me...she can give you so much i could never"

Sirius wrapped his arms around Marvolo's, kissing it. "I'll stay with her. I'll love her. And I'll leave you alone. I'll let you live your life."He said sadly. "But be assured that part of you belongs to me and always will. Even if you're with him and I'm with her, you're mine..." He said, proud that he could still say that.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

"Part of you will always be mine" she said firmly with a small smile "can we atleast be friends? until its impossible?"

Sirius pulled Marvolo's chin up, and looked into her eyes. "Yes..." he said, pecking her lips softly. "I needed to feel those one last time...I promise we'll remain friends. For as long as we can!"

She closed her eyes and pulled him into her kissing him softly, lovingly a goodbye to there life as lovers. Opening her eyes she pulled away from him "the last time"

"I love you...Marvolo Eris Gaunt. But I can live with you as a friend..." Sirius nuzzled her nose, smirking. He held her waist, and pulled his head back. "It's gonna be hard remembering how we acted before we fell for each other...again."

"before we met" she grinned "we hated each other"

"Actually," he chuckled, "I didn't hate you before you threw spells my way. But even then I didn't hate you. Since you kissed me....and I kissed you." He finished with a smirk.

She chuckled and shook her head "well now your sirius black the stupid blood traitor from gryffindor again"

"Whom is friends with Marvolo Gaunt, the stupid pure blood supremacist from Slytherin."

"Yep damned proud of it"

Sirius pulled her to him, hugging her and kissing her neck. "Make sure you remember that I'm really your friend. And so is Remus...we don't want you hurt."

She returned his hug gratefully " when the war starts though..."

"When it stars we'll protect our own. Don't attack them, and you're safe. You promised to leave James, Peter and Lily alone. That's all I need..."

She nodded "just don't hurt morana or Bruce..."

Sirius closed his eyes and sighed. "I won't attack them, but if they attack mine, I have to protect them. I promise I'll never ask for a battle. I'll just defend those I love..."
