A Lesson (Alexis)

Strolling around Merlin's Court, Mairon found the house of Alexis, his little student. The woman had a lot to learn still and he was ready to see some progress because if he didn't there would be trouble raining down on the poor Greengrass. Mairon would not rest until she was like him, insane and accepted the darkness in her heart.

When she finally got away from the insane man that had attacked her in the street after her meeting with Morana, Alexis had returned to the Order camp, and although she had been there much of the time since, she’d often felt the need to be alone. So, she would leave, returning to her home in Merlin’s Court, where she was able to relax and for a few hours pretend that it was fifty five years ago. When her main concern had been wondering if the new intern at St Mungo’s was really up to the job. She was easy to contact when the Order really needed her, but a few of the others had been taught the basics over the months, so she didn’t feel the need to be stuck there all of the time. She’d considered bringing some of the others with her on occasion, but as she didn’t want to put others in danger she had kept silent.

She was going to read, something that she hadn’t been able to do, when she heard footsteps on the path outside. Groaning, because she hadn’t expected anybody to look there after the start of the war, she approached the window with her wand drawn. When her glanced revealed the very same person who had intercepted her, she roughly pulled the front door open and said coldly, “what do you want now?”

Mairon bowed as a greeting and motioned for the woman to come with him, and began walking back to the beginning of the village, where it was possible to apparate once again. "Training," he grinned.

Alexis stood in the doorway for a few moments, watching as the man- Manwe, he’s said his name was- started to walk away without a word. She wasn’t sure if it was curiosity that made her grab her jacket and lock the door, or if it was the fact that she didn’t want a repeat of last time, but in any case she started to walk down the road. It seemed to be abandoned, she had noticed before, and she thought that if people still lived there, they probably stayed inside. Stopped when she caught up, she rolled her eyes and said, “of course.” She didn’t want to go, but she held out her hand expectantly, being sure to glare as she did so.

Grabbing hold of the woman's hand roughly Mairon made sure to glare right back at her however with his twisted smirk still on his lips, Mairon was sure he was going to have more fun today, he had already formulated a plan of what he labeled as fun regarding Alexis. "We shall have tons of fun today," he whispered as they vanished, appearing seemingly in the middle of nowhere, which was where they had went last time for Alexis to train. It was in the middle of a flat field of grass, so no destruction would come about if something went wrong, and the attention of people who knew Alexis wouldn't be called if her name somehow went up in the air.

“Oh, I’m sure,” Alexis said sarcastically, rolling her eyes as they disappeared from the end of the town. Even though she had begrudgingly agreed to come, she intended on being as difficult as she could and she didn’t care anymore if she ended up dead because of it. When they reappeared it was in the same field that she had been shown when they had met. She honestly had no idea where it was, or if it was even close to anywhere. Quickly releasing his hand, she stepped away and crossed her arms over her chest, “and what fruitless exercise do you have for me today, sir?”

Clapping his hands together the grass beneath his feet vanished leaving only the dirt. Looking up he created an orb of darkness sending it up into the air, and it turned into a covered arena, blocking out the light of the sun. Sending another orb up this one lighted the 'building of darkness' slightly, enough for Mairon to see Alexis and vice versa. Whipping out his wand Mairon waved it and a huge beast at least ten foot tall appeared and Mairon looked at Alexis with an ambitious look. "You shall tame him," he said, "And if you fail, I will punish you," he cracked his neck and vanished into the darkness ordering the beast to attack Alexis.

Alexis let out a breath as she watched Manwe reconstruct the field. She didn’t like the fact that for the first time, she could not even see a means of escape, but for the moment she kept her lips pressed firmly together. Her eyes widened significantly, however, when a massive creature was conjured. Glancing from it to the man, she frowned and asked, “how the bloody hell do I tame it?” She’d ever even seen something like it before, and she took a few steps away from it, slipping her wand from her sleeve and looking around for anything that might tell her what she was supposed to do.

"I told you once," Mairon's voice came from every and nowhere at the same time, it was untraceable to a fixed place. Mostly because he was flying around the orb unable to be seen due to blending into the darkness. "You have to reach out to your deepest darkness," he repeated what he had once said.

The woman continued to back up, trying to formulate a plan, though she was drawing blanks. As the man spoke, she looked back to where he had been before and muttered, “where the fuck did you go now?” She had no idea what she was supposed to do. Last time she’d tried the same thing, it hadn’t worked. She had tried, and it had done her no good, an she wouldn’t do it again for no reason. “Did it occur to you,” she started as flicked a flare of light past the beast’s head to see how it would react to magic, “that I might not actually have a deepest darkness?”

The monster opened his titanic beastly mouth swallowing the orb of light and literally digesting it as it descended to his stomach. Moving his large arm he moved to grab Alexis as his other hand smashed the ground to cause a small earthquake inside the 'arena'. "I know you do," Mairon's voice once again echoed around.

[Alexis Gamp]

Alexis stumbled as the ground beneath her feet trembled as she leapt backward out of the beast’s reach. “How would you possibly know that?” she asked, though it was no longer a real question. It seemed like ‘reaching into her darkness’ was the only advice she was going to get, and at this point she was sure she was going to lose. Because, while everybody had some kind of darkness in them, she had spent majority of her life avoiding it- locking it away so that she could be a different person than the rest of her family. She flicked her wand again, this time a Stupify that was actually aimed at the beast. The woman couldn’t know if it was immune to magic, or if it had any of its own, but she fired a curse as she quickly ran sideways to avoid it’s grasp again.

The spell hit the beast and slightly threw its head back before he whipped it back into place, this time throwing his arms around the zone where Alexis was standing, and in case she tried to run or apparate the beast would simply grab hold of the arena's darkness and suffocate her unless she grabbed hold of her own. Meanwhile Mairon watched slightly amused and annoyed.

Alexis was momentarily glad to see that the spell have at least done something to the beast, but she realised that it was unlikely that any of her collection of spells would manage to do much more than that one had. She wondered if the unforgivables were dark enough, but she didn’t get the chance to try the one that she felt the least bad about, Imperius, as although she jumped out of the way again, the beast had managed to get hold of her arm and before she had the chance to do anything further she felt the air surrounding her start to fade. Or was there still air and she just couldn’t reach it? I can’t breath, she tried to say, but nothing came out as she used what little air she had left in the attempt to speak. She hit the creature in the face as hard as she could with the heel of her hand, trying to make it let her go. But she couldn’t breath and she knew she only had a short time before she’d pass out which was even shorter now because she wasn’t staying still.

Rolling her eyes at her failure Mairon pierced through the creature, flying above his hands where he held Alexis, and waved his wand, and dark chains wrapped themselves around her wrists, ankles and neck, as the beast let her go and she began to fell, as the chains would glue her to the floor. The beast dispersed when Mairon snapped his fingers, as he landed before Alexis did.

Alexis felt faint, and she knew she’d pass out in only a few moments. She almost did, but just ask her vision began to cloud over, she felt the the beast release her and air rushed back into her lungs. She was lightheaded, but at least she was conscious. So out of sorts from the lack of oxygen, she didn’t even notice the chains until she fell to the ground. She struggled against them, and it was almost as though the grew even tighter as she did, like they were metal pythons and she was their helpless prey. Glaring at the man who appeared, her struggles slowed as she knew that is would do her no good and said spat out her words, “do you still think I’ll be able to find it? Your precious darkness.”

Aiming his wand at the woman he moved his hand in a circular motion, her clothes turning to ash as he knelt beside her, "If you aren't able to find it, I'll help you," he growled, trailing the skin of her belly with his fingers.

Alexis’ eyes widened and cold flushed through her when her clothes were disintegrated. For the first time since seeing the man in the abandoned street, she was truly terrified. Despite her earlier logic saying that she would do herself no good by struggling against the chains, she did it anyway, trying to move her skin away from the man’s fingers. “No!” she yelled out, pulling on the chains as hard as she could, “I don’t want your help!”

Wetting the tip of his fingers with his tongue, he placed his hand on her breast, digging his nails into her body as he quickly licked her nipple. "I wasn't asking" he chuckled, before dragging his nails down her body, tearing her skin and leaving blood in his wake. Leaning down and kissing her stomach, Mairon's hands grabbed her thighs, "Hmmm we most definitely will have fun today," he grinned whispering into her skin.

Alexis froze as his mouth touched her skin, and she lifted her head to glare at him. "Stop it," she said, before adding a pointed, "please." Her head fell back against the hard ground when she realised he wouldn't actually listen to her, and she winced in pain. "Fucking stop it, would you?" she growled, moving her hips sharply to try and get away from him, "if you wanted to scare me, you've succeeded, okay?"

Smirking when the woman admitted she was scared, Mairon licked his lips, pressing his thumb into her thighs, tearing through her skin and scratching the raw muscle, as he pushed to spread her legs slightly, "Do you fear me?" his lips traveled down her torso sucking the blood into his mouth, "Are you angry?" he asked and with a quick movement of his head passed his tongue by her nub, "Do you hate me?" he finally laughed.

Alexis cried out as her skin broke again, but she bit down on her lip to stop the sound. She wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of hearing her pain along with seeing it. Pressing her legs tightly together, she ignored his question about fearing him- of course she feared him- and instead put her focus into glaring upwards. “Yes,” she said through her teeth as she jerked her knee up as hard as she could in the chains, because she was angry. “Of course I hate you,” she spat, wishing that she could get her magic to work, even just to heal the stinging scratches, “I hate you so fucking much.”

Cackling once she admitted to all three, even unknownigly admitting she was afraid by not responding. His hand slipped down as he grabbed a dagger from his holster beside his pocket and rammed it into her thigh, and forcing his index finger into her body, invading her as he leaned his body down his eyes widened as he stared into hers, "Transform those emotions, unless you want to bear my child soon," he cackled mocking the woman, trying to push her to finally reach her darkness.

The scratches had stung, but the knife in her thigh made her scream out. It felt like it burned, so badly so that she almost didn’t notice the fact that he’d pushed his finger into her. When she did, though, she started struggling again, the blade making it hurt even more but she didn’t care. His words, however, stuck her like she’d be slapped, and she stopped moving again as an icy chill ran through her body. Her terrified gaze hardened as she forced herself to look up at him, lifting her face until it almost touched his, before saying, “You. Are. Disgusting.”

Snapping his fingers the chains pulled her legs and arms apart, spreading them open, exposing the rest of her body. "I did warn you," he said as he moved to unzip his trousers, "You should indeed hurry," he laughed reaching into his pants and pulling his boxers down grabbing his length and letting it hang off the zipper as he rubbed the tip "Must you be so cruel to make me plant a disgusting child in you?" Mairon cackled.
