Hopeless (Mariya)

[Lilith Morgenstern]

Lilith lied on her bed, staring into nowhere above her, humming muggle song Titanium, maybe to give herself some hope. How was she supposed to help Chase, when she herself was perfect example of misery? Her eyes lined by black mascara and blood from how much she cried lately and wiped her tears away way too hard. Both her hands hung hopelessly from the bed, where she lied, seemingly lifeless. Why had life to be so cruel?

Mariya stroked Rhaego's head as she walked her steps untroubled as she entered her dorm. Laying her bag down she looked to Lilith as she kicked off her shoes. "What troubles you dear lady"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

Lilith didn't move an inch as Mariya entered the dorm, and had no intention to speak whatsoever. But she was raised to answer when asked. "Nothing," she replied lifelessly. What was she supposed to say? How could Mariya understand anyway?

"Its about Mister Shadow now isnt it" she observed

As she heard his name, she felt like crying again. His name haunted her, just like his face. There was no way to avoid him, nowhere to hide. And one terrible promise she made, just to buy herself some time and a few happy moments, because she was simply too selfish to give up. "Could we talk about something else? If we have to talk, that is..."

"You are lucky to have a boy who loves you as much as he" she commented "We've became close these last few days he's a good kid"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

Lilith laughed bitterly. "Oh really? Do you call making someone a personal slave after basicaly raping that person, being a good kid? Because in that case you and I have a very different ways to see things," she said sadly. "But maybe you just see the World the same as your brother do," she added, thinking about Chase, praying for her to be safe and sound at her dorm at the moment.

Stroking Rhaego she picked up a mouse from the floor having spotted it as she walked in and held it by the tail for him "if you did not want him you would fight him" she said simply her voice smoky and dark "and if i am like my brother then i am on the right path" she chuck;ed as the python crushed the mouse in its jaws.

"Again, if you call torturing and raping innocent girls the right path, I believe we don't have much to talk about," Lilith said, but much more quieter now. "Kain used to be nice to me. But he no longer is. You weren't with him, when I was. I could fight him and end up at hospital wing, in not six feet under. When nobody cares what happens to you, you just have to look out for yourself enough to survive," she said, her voice normal now, yet bitter and broken.

"My dear you are a lestrange" she said walking to lilith she took her hand and led her to the mirror. Pulling her hair off her face she placed her cool small hands on her shoulders "you are power incarnate, the boy is in love with you..why be his slave when he can be yours" she grinned at there reflections her hand carrassed her cheek "You are a woman you can do anything..and I shall help you"

"Maybe because I am the one who dates someone else. Someone, who will leave me, if Kain says a word about what happened. And I am not going to let that happen. If I am about to spend the rest of my life with Kain, I am not going to give up on that little remaining piece of freedom I still have. Which is with Ricky," Lilith replied looking at herself in the mirror.

"And you dont have to my dear" she said softly..seductively "enjoy your time with Lupin, have fun with him take solace in his kindness and strong arms. But when you sleep with Kain don't fuck him like a slave...fuck him like a queen."

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"Easier said, then done. Unless we will be throwing curses at each other, I am pretty sure he has kind of advantage in this over me. I mean look at me. I am just tiny little small mouse he enjoys to catch," Lilith replied. "And I am not using Ricky. I love him. And I want to be with him," she said her voice confident over those words.

"you wont use him my dear you will use kain" she said "lie on the bed" turning she let Rhaego slide from her shoulders to the ground.

Lilith looked at Mariya, unsure where this was going, she lied on her bed again, not looking away from the youngest Gaunt.

She straddled the girl with ease her fingers gentle on her face "Your name is lilith" she said softly her gaze strong and commanding her to keep her eyes on her "Lilith is the name of a goddess did you know that?"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"Goddess of what?" Lilith asked. She never really looked for origins of her name.

[Mariya Gaunt]

"Goddess of women and the night" she said "It is said Lilith could conquer any man with her eyes, she could finish them with just a gaze. Men would fight wars in her honor just for one night in her bed"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"Well, charming lady, I guess. Shame the only thing in common I have with her is the name," Lilith replied with dry bitterness. She couldn't help it. She felt so hopeless and her world was so dark now, she had no motivation to try and look at it from different point of view.

[Mariya Gaunt]

"Ah my dear goddess you have lived your life innocent but sometimes you bust be devilish to tame a man" she grinned leaning over her, her short blonde hair framing her face. "You are clever sweet lilith you are beautiful, your body is desirable you are charming and sweet like that perfect piece of candy. but you must learn to harness the part of your mind that placed you in this house"

"I am mainly not in the mood to be devilish with anyone. And I am not that kind of person," Lilith replied. Of course she knew how to use her charm and acting to get what she wanted. She did it a few times, even with Kain. When she was in danger, she fooled people quite easily, just to save herself. But this time it was different. Maybe it was because Kain wasn't really a danger to her. He didn't hurt her physicaly. He actually sometimes really cared for her. And also, it could be because Lilith simply gave up.
