Care of Magical Creatures - Lesson 2

Bruce sat in the gigantic boulder that was placed in the middle of the clearing, with a strange being by his side. Its head, torso and arms appeared to be human and were joined to a horse's body. It was a known beast, and Bruce had fun getting to know those same beasts. This particular one was the only one Bruce could talk to back when he was in the Czech Republic. Now, the students were going to meet the creature. How exciting.

With that, Bruce opened the path to the clearing, letting the students in once more.

Morgan entered the clearing for Care of Magical Creatures and was surprised to find she was the first to arrive. Seeing the beast next to Professor Carrow, a smile touched her lips. She knew this beast and found it magnificent. "Good day, Professor," she said quietly as she set her pack down and waited for class to start.

As Vixen entered the clearing, she froze when she spotted the beast. It was a wonderful looking creature, and she was newly excited to experience this lesson. She spotted Morgan and chose to stand on the opposite side of the clearing from the Ravenclaw. Tipping her head, she greeted the professor. "Professor Carrow..." she said as she crossed her arms causally, slightly adjusting her pack.

[Luna Valkyrie]

Luna's dark blue eyes looked around the forest, it was becoming hard to breathe. She closed her eyes and she sucked in air, past the lump in her throat. She finally entered the clearing and saw Morgan and Vixen, bowing her head at them as a sign of hello. She saw the beast and was struck by it's magnificence. She knew what the beast was so it made a very small smile appear on her face. She sat at the very back with her bag on her lap whilst she stared at the beast with her tilted head. ''Hello Professor.'' Her hoarse voice emitted from her throat after what felt like eons of not talking.

[Jocelyn Immorta]

Jocelyn walked down the path to the second lesson, she was pretty scared but kept the comment from Dragon in her head. 'Fear is not a fact, it is an option.' Jocelyn was trying not to be scared but she would keep close to her brother or Luna so he couldn't touch her again. She sighed in relief when Luna arrived already, she walked up to luna and sat down next to her. "Is it okay if I stay close to you till my brother comes here...I don't like weird creatures." Jocelyn asked Luna, she avoided eye contact with the professor and the beast.

[Luna Valkyrie]

Luna jumped as Jocelyn sits next to her. She had gone into her own little world and then she nodded. ''Y-yes of course.'' She felt weird, talking to people but she put on a smile anyway. She took Jocelyn's hand and squeezed it softly, more for Luna's comfort than Jocelyn. She looks around the clearing, visions of her twin laying there burned in her mind. ''You can sit here even when Kronos comes here, if you'd like?'' She said in her hoarse voice.

[Selena Snape]

Selena walked out to the clearing where some of the other students were already waiting for the lesson to start. She grinned slightly upon seeing the interesting creature next to her teacher, excited that she was going to be learning more about it today. "Good morning, Professor." she geeted with a smirk.

[Kronos Grimm]

Kronos strolled over he nodded to bruce, he he slipped through the ranks of students. He slipped past under, over, round students. He went round Luna and slipped right behind her bumping her up onto his lap. He cuddled her and whispered in here ear "I love you baby"

[Jocelyn Immorta]

Jocelyn looked worried as Luna jumped as she approached her. That was not something for Luna and when she held her hand tightly Jocelyn knew something was wrong. "Luna? You okay? What happened?" She whispered but she saw her brother coming up and taking Luna on his lap. Jocelyn looked away from them, seeing them together being the love couple she really missed Cian. Jocelyn took some distance and tried to be as unnoticed as she could.

[Luna Valkyrie]

Luna stares at Jocelyn and nods frantically. ''Of course i'm okay. Nothing happened.'' She feels herself get placed onto someone's lap and she turns to see Kronos. She whispers into his ear. ''I love you too.'' She feels herself get more comfortable with the idea of being in the clearing her twin sister died now that Kronos was here. She didn't feel completely fine and honestly, wanted to throw up but she stuck through it.

Bruce clapped loudly, as the wind flew around, bringing all attention to him. "Class has begun!" he said, carrying a malicious grin on his face. He saw a lot of familiar faces there. Little Vixen, Regulus's 'friend'. Achilles, and his girlfriend. The Prince girl, and little Jocelyn. Plus the others, but they were insignificant. "Class, what is the name of the creature that is standing next to me?" he asked, as the creature dropped a hoof on the ground.

[Jocelyn Immorta]

Jocelyn gave a quick glance to the creature, she knew what it was but should she say something. Jocelyn raised her hand. Something inside her said that she couldn't stay afraid of him and that fear was an option not a fact. Jocelyn pulled herself up. "It is a centaur, professor." She said and sat down again not wanting to be in the centre of the attention.

Bruce grinned as Jocelyn answered. Good thing she understood what she had to do. Bruce had thought her a lesson of respect, but nothing else. He didn't have anything against her in particular, and was somewhat fascinated by her. With her family, she'd surely stay on the right side, "Correct, 5 points to Slytherin! Good job Jocelyn!" Bruce said with a wink, before gesturing for the class to gaze at the centaur. "Now, who wants to touch him?" he asked, grinning even more.

[Luna Valkyrie]

Luna stared at her professor and smirked at his question on what it was. She then put her hand up at his question to touch him. ''I would, sir.'' Her hoarse, broken sounding voice emitted from her throat. She had met many before when she went out into the woods to train and hunt and had even been offered to ride some but she always refused finding it disrespectful to ride a half man, half horse. She didn't really know why but she did.

[Jocelyn Immorta]

Jocelyn was surprised by his actions but she was glad she didn't had to step forward and as Luna moved to the front to touch the creature, she moved closer to her brother leaning her head on his shoulder. She was tired, she hadn't been sleeping since what happened with that Felix kid on the viaduct. It worried her and she couldn't help it considering to owl Dragon about it.
