Detention for the Duelists((Marvolo, Snape, Potter, Black))

[Dellen Lestrange]

Dellen stood at the mouth of the forest dressed in simple robes for trekking through the woods. She waited for the students she had owled regarding there detentions, it was early morning and the sun was an hour from rising leaving the air cold and dark.

[Severus Snape]

Severus dragged his feet to where he could see his head of house waiting. It was much to early for his liking, but he did wonder what this detention might include.
He stopped next to her and nodded politely before looking back to the castle to see who else would be joining them. Severus really didn't want to spend more time with Potter and Black, but that probably couldn't be helped.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Marvolo had woken up early and practiced some spells while she waited for the time to come to meet for detention. Checking the time she left her dorm room clad in black pants combat boots and a heavy sweater accompinied by her trench coat to the forest. "Morning Professor" she said "Hey Sev"

[James Potter]

James arrived, with Sirius. He'd been healed, his back was already fine. "Professor Lestrange, I'm here. And so is Sirius. What's the detention going to be about? Any special punishment?" James noticed Snape, but did not acknowledge him.

[Dellen Lestrange]

Dellen watched them arrived and nodded in greeting "For this detention you will be paired up in twos and have a task. Sirius and Marvolo there is a cave about a mile's walk from here you are to clean it out of nargles. James and Severus there is a valley of sink holes a quarter mile from here you are to collect any evidence of werewolves you all have three hours to complete your tasks and return here"

Sirius arrived with James. His back still felt funny, but it was better then still having the cut. I'm staying with Marvolo? This just got interesting.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Marvolo grit her teeth "As you wish professor" she said her tone annoyed she looked to Sirius "Shall we get moving then?"

[Severus Snape]

Inside his head, Severus let out a stream of curses. Working with Potter? Now that would be brilliant. Why couldn't he just go with Marvolo, he wondered angrily.
Stalking over to the edge of the forest, he called over his shoulder "You're coming Potter? I want to get this done as soon as possible."

[Guest]

"Whatever. Let's just get to the cave." Marvolo wasn't Sirius's favorite person in the world at the moment. He much rather clean caves with James, than with miss Slytherin.

[James Potter]

Working with Snapy? James looked over at Severus with an annoyed look. Searching for clues about werewolves with Severus wasn't his idea of a good time. Annoyed, tired, and pissed were what was going on in James's mind. "I'm coming Snape. Make sure no werewolves creep on you."

[Severus Snape]

"Just shut it, Potter.." Severus muttered under his breath as he stalked theough the still dark forest. Pulling out his wand, he cast a Lumos to give them some light. A valley of sinkholes, he thought frowning. That shouldn't be hard to miss. He looked behind him to see if Potter was following him. He might not like the brat, but with all the dark creatures in the forest they should better stay together.

[James Potter]

James kept following Severus. "Is it still long before we get to wherever we have to go? You like dark things, you probably know everything about this place."

[Severus Snape]

Throwing an annoyed glance at the Gryffindor, Severus snorted. "She said quarter of a mile, so we'll be walking a while, I guess. And I do not spend much time here in the forest." he said stiffly. Of course he wouldn't tell Potter that he often came here to gather fresh ingredients for his potions, not that he would understand it anyway.

[James Potter]

"Well let's keep walking. The sooner we get there, the better." James ignored Severus's denial. Like he, severus, out of all people, wouldn't spend all his time in the forest. Still, there could be a little chance Snape was telling the truth. But, Nah!

[Severus Snape]

Shrugging, Severus kept walking along the path that led them through the forest till they came to a parting. "What now, Potter.. left or right?" he couldn't care less either way. Severus tried to spy something through the trees, but fog was making it hard to see anything.

[James Potter]

"Let's just go to the right." James started to walk towards the right. "You coming Snape?" James glared at Snape, wondering what he was doing.

[Severus Snape]

Severus was watching Potter's back with narrowed eyes. The boy was much to calm for his liking. Severus wondered why he hadn't started insulting him, yet. Normally, he wouldn't hold back either.
Shaking his head, he hurried after the Gryffindor.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Marvolo rolled her eyes as she headed int he direction her professor had told them to go in. She knew Professor Lestrange enjoyed giving bizarre detentions but this was just out of the ordinary. "hopefully this wont take long" she said to no one in particular.

Sirius followed Marvolo, hearing her out loud thoughts. His mind drifted into a lot of things. How the kiss with Marvolo was amazing. And how he didn't have his wand. "Huh...Marvolo...in our little disagreement, I lost my wand. Tell me, do you have it?" Sirius asked, looking at Marvolo's back.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Stepping over a fallen log she looked over her shoulder at him pulling his wand from her pocket she twirled it in between her finfgers and smirked "Catch me if you can Black" she said and took off in a dead sprint jumping over logs and rocks with ease. She spent all her free time in the forbidden forest, this was her true home.

"Oh well!" Sirius went after Marvolo, not running but simply walking on a faster pace, looking around. "Marvolo, c'mon. Give me my wand and I might kiss you again!" Said Sirius with a smirk on his face. He had his hands under his robe, and simply used his feet to go over obstacles.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Marvolo's laugh echoed through the forest that was slowly being filled with the first lights of dawn "you'll have to put in some effort if you want your wand back Black" she called over her shoulder as she vaulted over a boulder, she loved to run through the forest this was more fun for her even if he wasn't giving chase. "Or perhaps I might just break it"

"Oh no you won't!" Sirius started running, and jumping over rocks. "Come here Marvolo." Sirius was, possibly, faster than Marvolo. Being 2 years older, and practicing quidditch made him keep in shape. He vaulted the boulder that Marvolo had a little bit back, and kept going after her.

[Marvolo Gaunt]

Her long legs carried her faster as she heard him give chase, seeing a small chasm up ahead she felt more then saw the jump she would have to make and cleared the distance with ease letting loose a wild care free woop of joy as she broke through the brush and dissapeared into a network of caves.

"Marvolo?" Sirius yelled searching for her after Marvolo had disappeared. He looked at an entrance to a cave nearby, and yelled inside. "Marvolo? You here? You shouldn't get into caves here. Not alone anway!"
