The shadows crept around the corner, as the moon struggled to shine into the cold prison. Eris walked barefoot through the corridors, clothed in only grey ragged pants and shirt. Her long hair covering her delicate face that had never seen the sun. The inmates had grown accustomed to the girl and her brother, at first seeing babies in Azkaban had startled them, frightened them, outraged many. Even murderers weren't Monsters. They all held a hand in raising them in a way, teaching them separate lessons, on how to know when someone wanted to kill you or the proper way to crush a skull. Simple things like tying knots since they didnt have shoes or start a fire when the dementors and guards were not looking to stay warm.

Eris enjoyed slipping into the wing where Rabastan Lestrange and Sirius Black were kept, the men were kind to her but tonight the guards kept watch and the girl would not be able to smile sweetly to sway them.

Outside she could hear the sound of the waves crashing against the stones as it rained over head. She hummed softly as she started climbing up one of the walls her feet and hands finding places to hold as she climbed. She had not gotten far when rough hands pulled her off the wall, with a choked scream she hit the floor hard, groaning in pain she looked at her attacker "Stop making so much fucking noise bitch" the man growled at her.

While many loved the company of the twins there were those who took every chance to attack, as his hand wrapped around her ankle she kicked him in the face his nose cracking loudly and blood streaming down his filthy chin. "Why ya little cunt don't worry i'll ruin you" he growled pinning her down she struggled underneath him "No brother to save ye now"

Suddenly aware of how terrible the situation was she struggled even more before throwing back her head and letting a single note from her throat, the sound bounced off the walls and travelled through the prison, it was the way she knew he would hear her, but her fear rising she let out a blood curdling scream "ARES!"

The shadows moved in a frenzy as his name echoed around all the halls. Several dementors were alerted, but decided not to move. After so many years, they knew what this meant, and didn't care. 

Back at his own cell, Ares laid on the ground, appearing dead. He was simply resting, like he usually did. As his name rung around his ears, his nails dug into the floor, and his eyes stormed open.

He jumped off the ground, and ran through the walls, up every set of stairs. Several prisoners pointed in the way he needed to go, needing only to hear his growls as a response.

Ares slipped between the bars of the cell the scream had come from, and ripped a part of his rag. His blind rage driving him, he pushed the man off his sister, and pounced on top of him, his fingers pushing the man's eyes in. As the prisoner groaned due to the blood pouring from his face, Ares kicked his shins, making him fall to the ground again. 

The boy then sat on his back, and placed the piece of his rag he had ripped around the man's neck, pulling it with all his strength. The prisoner struggled to reach the bars, but he could barely move.

Soon, the bastard let out his last breath, as his head fell on the floor, lifeless. Ares let the rag go, and spat on the prisoner's head, before adjusting his clothes, the so called 'tunics' they wore. Turning to his sister, his eyes became a lambent brown once again.

She struggled against him as the man touched her, cursing herself for her small body and weaker form she focused on kicking at him. When he was slammed from her like a raging storm hit him she sat up and watched as Ares killed him.

Watching Ares at work was like watching a artist make a master piece, both the twins were masters fo death by now. They had to be growing up in the worst place on earth. Rushing to him she hugged him tightly "i'm sorry ares" she mumbled "i was climbing the walls and he took me by surprise"

Ares held onto his sister tightly, and was about to speak, when he heard a familiar noise. He let out a cold breathe, and then hurled both himself and Eris to the floor. Covering their skins with their rags, Ares hid them as a Dementor passed by, followed by a guard. The guard entered the cell and retrieved the body, and didn't even want to ask himself questions. He just did his job. As he left, Ares cradled Eris and mumbled, "No one's gonna hurt you," over and over.

She pressed into his chest becoming as small as possible so not to be seen, they flirted with death itself on a daily basis, hiding from dementors when they chose to come too close. As the danger passed she allowed him to cuddle her and comfort her his words washing over her and making her smile. "Ares" she said looking at him "Jericho told mom we are all getting out of here soon, you wont leave me right? even though we'll be in the day world and there will be..others?" she spoke as the thoughts came to her, though they were only children and other then a few experimental kisses they hadnt really left the realm of sibling love. She worried one day he would find another a girl who wasn't his twin sister and it worried her.

Ares felt the need to hit his sister due to her outright foolish question, but in a way, he understood her worries. By now, she should know Ares would never let others get in the way. Never. She was his only purpose for living, and he wasn't letting her go. Of course she could have her doubts, but if she expressed them, that'd only anger the boy, "How can you even think I can leave you..." he said with a snarl, but never letting his twin go. "No one else matters...only you and mom!" he exclaimed, but kept his tone low, as to not attract the dementor once again.

His snarl forced a small chill through her bones, he was prone to small acts of violence when unhappy. Kissing his cheek she leaned her head in his neck and wrapped his arms around his neck "I don't want to go into the day world" she confessed "at least we control this world"

Ares licked up her neck to her cheek, where he nibbled her jawline "We'll control the other one too..." he said with a grunt, "eventually," he drawled with a deep sigh.

She hissed a bit before biting his neck, almost hard enough to break the skin but then let go and kissed the mark "they will regret setting us free" she said with a dark laugh her breath ghosting across his skin "we'll find the ones who hurt mom, we'll kill them we'll stand on our own."

"What if that means hurting Young, would you mind?," Ares questioned his sister, as he closed his eyes. Her bites were rough, but he had gotten used to them. They still hurt, but not as the first one did. As he waited for her answer, he played with her hair, as he held her close by the waist.

"Why would we hurt jericho?" she asked "he's moma's friend"

"I saw a badge he brought once. Auror. I know what it means. Black told me. He works with the ones who put moma away!" he answered quickly, but never raising his voice.

She frowned as she took in this information she had overheard that jericho worked for the ministry, but an auror? "but he comes here to see her, moma says he was here when we were born he looked after her. Maybe he's a good one?"

Ares frowned at Eris' last two words. "There are no good ones, they're all the same," he growled, as he clenched his fists.

She felt his fists on her hips and nodded slowly "then he will die too, they all will" she said her dark eyes deepening, she didnt want to hurt jericho she liked him alot but if he wasn auror then he would pay as well when the time came.

"Good then. But, I need not to worry about you being weak when the time comes correct?," he asked, his deep brown eyes watching Eris' every move.

"Call me whatever you like" she said her eyes like cold fire "but never accuse me of being weak brother"

"I knew you'd say that," he answered darkly, as he caressed Eris' cheek.
