Training in the Shadows (Felix)

[Vixen Lestrange]

It had been ages since Vixen had trained... Well, trained in her mind... She made her way to the forest and found a fallen tree that would be perfect for her to throw her knives around for a time. Vixen drew her dagger from her boot as well as the ring that held five others, a gift from her father. Unhooking them, she placed all six in a row on a low branch of a tree next to her. Picking up one by one, she began with a simple one-two step into the throw of the blade. Each time she heard the solid thunk of the knife finding it's mark, she smiled...

Felix threw a knife that hit the hilt of her and stayed there perfectly balanced. "Hello"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Hearing a metallic thunk follow her solid one, and without throwing another blade, Vixen paused. As the familiar voice of Felix sounded next to her, she glanced over her shoulder. "Well, well.... If it isn't the king of shadows himself. What brings you our here, or need I ask?" she asked, picked up the fourth of her blades and threw it sticking it in the collection of blades already stuck in the tree.

[Kronos Grimm]

"I like throwing sharp objects." He threw 3 blades, each one hitting the center of all of hers. "Its fun...Plus, I was training."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen watched as each of his three blades found their mark as he intended. She went and collected them all, bringing them back and handing his over. "You train alone?" she asked.

[Kronos Grimm]

He took them and thanked her. "Sometimes. I was running. Then I was doing pull ups using a branch 20m above the ground. Its a long training session..."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen nodded and smiled as she began throwing the blades again. "Are you alright? After everything that happened...before, I mean..." she asked, turning her dark eyes to him. She had only seen the end of the spat between he and Jasmin and then saw the aftermath of their actions. Vixen hadn't had a moment to check with Felix about it. Granted, she figured as twisted as he was, he wasn't bothered at all.

"What with Jasmin? Yeah, I'm fine, gave me a good chuckle"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen couldn't help but add her own chuckle to his. She knew that there was something different about that girl... She just hoped that she would learn to listen to reason and think before acting next time. "So, have you ever trained with someone or are you a lone wolf, as they say?"

[Kronos Grimm]

"You tell me."

[Vixen Lestrange]

She narrowed her eyes as him, thinking about how she would answer him. "You are more the lone wolf type," Vixen said simply before throwing another blade.

[Kronos Grimm]

"Ahha. You would be right, but if team work is required. I am game"

[Vixen Lestrange]

"Like the plan you have in place?" Vixen commented, glancing at him. "That calls for teamwork in a sense," she added.

[Kronos Grimm]

"Yes. Yes it does, however. I have learnt having friends is a good thing...They tend to stop you killing others whom do deserve it, but aren't worth it."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen's eyes widened as she realized when he was talking about. As coy smile spread across her face as she shook her head slightly. "Just didn't want you to make a mistake by acting out in such a manner against her. I mean, not your style, Felix," she chuckled.

"Fair enough, and what would be my style Vixen?"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen shrugged her shoulders as she sheathed her dagger. "You are a kill with purpose kind of person," she said as she collected the blades once more. "You have said yourself, you don't just take life for no reason. There is always a reason..." she added, linking her throwing knifes onto their ring and placing them on a small branch to hang, "Simply taking a life of someone who rubs you the wrong way just doesn't fit your....nature, if you will."

"You learn quick Vixen, I will give you that. Whats your style then?"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Looking up quickly, Vixen thought about his question. She looked away and sighed, "Don't have one. I simply protect myself when needed... I'd rather be prepared than not...."

[Kronos Grimm]

"So. You only kill in self defence? makes sense."

[Vixen Lestrange]

"Would if I had to. Thankfully, have not needed to...yet," Vixen said crossing her arms. She knew death was a part of life, but if it could be avoided, then so be it. She wasn't one to seek death as an answer to the call of vengeance or revenge. A cut from one of her blades and a swift punch would do nicely there. "My father tried to teach me such things, but only a few stuck. He had a hard time teaching to his daughter than was smaller and weaker than he was," she said with a chuckle. "You know, he's this big guy and didn't take into consideration that his daughter wasn't..." she added with a smile.

"Strength is not just an aspect of muscle Vixen, you are strong in many ways."

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen leaned against the tree holding the ring of knives. "Strong in wit and reason, among other things," she joked. "I could learn a thing or two from you, I wager," she teased.

[Kronos Grimm]

"What do you think you could learn?"

[Vixen Lestrange]

Vixen shrugged. "It's hard to say. It was just a thought," she said.
