Re: Swimming in the Sun
Achilles looks confused. Then back to unreadable. ''Fix what? You seem fine to me. Unique even. Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather be different than a clone. If you understand what I mean. If they keep droning on about it. Just don't listen. Being different is better'' he said. Then smiled

Morgan smiled back and tried to think how to explain it to him. She took a deep breath and let it out, then began, "I'm from a pureblood family, Akkie, and on both sides they are very into the 'pureblood supremacy' stuff," she said with air quotes around the words pureblood supremacy. "They all believe that anyone with less than pureblood isn't worthy to study or practice magic. I don't see it that way. I think that if you are magical, then you are. Who cares what you liniage says...." she said and sighed, looking at her hands. "While my parents can accept me for who and how I am, the rest of the family is another story. I don't listen to them anymore, unless I need to for my own safety. Granted, my parents tend to not let me be alone with them and the rest of the family doesn't seek me out. At least, they haven't yet," she said raising her grey-blue eyes to Akkie. "That's what I mean by 'fix' me. I like being different, though. I've made so many friends that way, and I'm not sure how many are what as I don't think it matters," she added with a small smile.

Achilles takes the information in. Says nothing for two minutes as he processes this. The spoke. ''Interesting. Well. I agree if you have magic. Use it. I get what you mean, about them trying to ''fix'' you. However. Like I said. There is nothing to fix.''

Morgan's smile brightened, "Speaking the truth is a good thing. Dangerous sometimes, but good. So, do you play Quidditch for your house team?"

Morgan nodded at his comment about telling the truth over a lie and then said, "Yes. I'm the keeper for my team. Luna plays, too, doesn't she?"

"That's right! She told me that when we met, but I couldn't remember which position she played," Morgan laughed to herself. "I've been playing for a while. My father taught me the game when I was little, and we'd watch whenever we could. Then when I was big enough to fly on my own, he sort of trained me a little. But, didn't really get to play play until I came here. How about you?" she said and asked happily.

Achilles smiled. ''Played since I could walk. I enjoy the game. Its fun. Urgh, not to be rude. However, can we do something. I am bored. You chose. You've been here longer.''

Morgan smiled and laughed. She wasn't going to lie, she was a little tired of small talk. "Well, how about you teach me how to hold me breath like you? I'd love to be able to hold it longer," Morgan offered.

Achilles smiled. ''As much as I would love to. Its got two factors. You need to be physically fit. That and you need the right technique. Which is. While under water. Most people Hold it all in for as long as possible. However. You don't. You need to let it out slowly. Only a little, every 20 seconds. It tricks you body into thinking you are in a coma or sleeping, I don't know why.'' He said. ''However. You need to train in the cardio-vascular area to get better lungs to do this''
