Dozing off...

The classes were boring. He couldn't do anything in them to keep his attention focused. But he couldn't leave to go to the Black Lake yet since he had another class in another hour... As he slouched against the edge of a window sill, the air and light around him began to play with his thinking, and slowly, he began to drift off, dozing slightly, holding his bag in a guarding fashion, resting his head against the cool stone...

Angel was strolling through the corridors, looking for something interesting to do when she noticed a Gryffindor boy dozing off. " Hey," Angel said snapping her fingers in front of the boys's face.

Hearing the snapping of the fingers brought him back to reality. Blinking a couple times, he focuses his eyes on this girl. "Can I help you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow while training his visible eye onto the girl.

" Well not to alarm you or anything, but if another student comes along they could easily attack you," Angel said tapping her wand against her thigh.

He scoffed at her advice, "Why would someone want to attack me in broad daylight? Don't people have other things to do?"

"That's what I want to know too," Angel said sighing," If I were you I would stay away from the students who think they are God's grift to the Wizarding World,"

"Like most of the Slytherins?" he added, getting out of the comfortable position and just sitting on the window sill.

" Not all Slytherins," Angel said remembering Andromeda Black," And there are students from other houses too,"

He regarded her carefully, "Any I should know about?" his blonde hair falling in front of his eye patch.

Angel grinned," The Marauders," she said instantly," Though they can be nice and funny around you, inside they're a bunch if arrogant gits,"

Growing skeptical, "Who are these Marauders? and why are they a bunch of gits?" he asked, curious.

" James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettrigrew," Angel said ticking the names off in her mind as she said them." They're gits because they act like some. But I guess they can be obnoxious but the only reason I don't blast them into next week is because they mean good,"

"Mean good how?" he asked, confused as to how it could work that way.

[Guest]

Angel shrugged," They'll fight on the good side," she said simply," They might not have any brain cells left, but they are smart enough to know that there are things in this world worth fighting for," Angel couldn't help but shoot a quick glance at Alex's eye,"" How did you get it," Angel asked, not bothering to be polite seeing as though she hardly knew the boy.

"I see..." he didn't bother to answer the second question since he wasn't sure what she meant. the patch itself or the "injury".

Angel raised an eyebrow," Your eye, how did you hurt your eye?" she clarified.

He frowned, "Faerae folk. One of them had a vendetta against my father and ripped out my eye when I was young for repayment." he added flatly.

Angel nodded," I don't see why people make fun of your eye. I mean it's better than being hell's creation or having a mental disorder,"

"What do you mean by hell's creation?" he asked.

[Guest]

" People who'll make the wrong choice when the time has come," Angel stated. Even though she hated to admit it, Angel loved giving ambivalent answers to questions she was asked.

He narrowed his eyes at her, "Right." as long as it wasn't about people with abnormalities, he didn't care.

" Your eye is probably what I like the most about you," Angel said," It makes you different and Hogwarts needs more different,"

[Guest]

A blush hit his cheeks. "Erm... Thanks." He had never had a red-head compliment him before.

" Don't blush," Angel stated simply," It makes you look like you have a bad sunburn,"

[Guest]

The blush faded as he glared at her. "Bet you burn to a crisp, ginger." he said sharply... but there wasn't much bite behind it.
