Owls (open)
Elisabetta looked round the Great Hall as she absentmindedly ate her pancakes. She wondered, with all of the mischief she'd been getting into lately, if she would be receiving another Howler from her parents. It wasn't a big deal; she had become used to getting them.
A shriek of laughter erupted from the Ravenclaw table. She rolled her eyes and looked away, noting with satisfaction that it had begun to rain again. Rain always put her in a good mood, although she did find it incredibly difficult to stay awake in class when it did rain.
A flutter of wings sounded from overhead, and a moment later her tawny owl, Morgana, landed in front of her, a letter (not a Howler, this time) tied to her leg. Elisabetta untied the envelope and opened it, reading:
"Dear Betta,
How are you? I haven't seen you in a while, so my parents thought I should write to you to see how you're doing. I'm doing okay, I guess. Durmstrang is very tough, but I'm managing to keep up with my classes.
How is Hogwarts? I've always wanted to visit there. I hear the Quidditch stadium there is very nice. Are you on your House team? What House are you in? I hope it's Slytherin--they say that it's by far the best house of the four.
I have to go now. Write me back and let me know how you're doing.
Dmitri"

Angel rose from the Ravenclaw table, a little red in the face from laughing. She was headed outside to get some much needed fresh air when she spotted Elisabetta sitting in her usual spot, holding a letter," What's that Domenici , your parents finally disown you?" Angel didn't even try being nice, seeing as though her and the Slytherin haven't been on best terms.

Elisabetta turned round to see Angel standing near her. "Actually, this is a letter from a boy I've known for a while now. He goes to Durmstrang." she replied. "I might get Howlers, but I've yet to get a letter saying that I've been disowned. And even if I were, Dmitri would help me out. His parents know mine, so needless to say..." Elisabetta left off for a moment, then her eyes narrowed. "And no, there is nothing between us."

Angel smirked," Whatever you say," she said with a troublesome glint in her eyes.

"I don't like him like that." Elisabetta replied. "I don't like any boy like that. I've got too much to do than make puppy eyes at the boys here. Besides, even if I did like someone, I certainly wouldn't be telling anyone."

Angel raised an eyebrow," Secrets are made to be exposed," Angel said in a sing song voice.

"I like to keep mine unexposed. I find that it tends to make life a lot easier for me." Elisabetta replied, folding the letter back up. "So...what are you doing, wandering so far away from the Ravenclaw table and over here to the snake pit?"

Re: Owls (open)
Angel shrugged," Whats wrong about me being at the Slytherin table" she asked with a bored expression.
