Getting Used To Things (Open)

Not every student thrived under Voldemort's rule, Hannibal William Salander did. Ten years ago he had woken up in Saint Mungos and didn't know how he got there, he had been five years old when the curse had fallen over Hogwarts castle, somehow he had been freed and dropped at the hospital. Raised by his grandfather Armen he now looked forward to finally attending the fabled school of Hogwarts, in his sixth year. 

Leaving his first class he took a short cut through the third floor corridor, his hands in his pockets while he walked.

Lilith felt strange walking these halls after so long. Of course she has been here for the battle, frozen for decades. But as a student, all she could recall were here first two years full of pain a humiliation. The past was so hauting to her, she pushed it further and further until it became blury and somehow strange, something that she could harly belive happened to her and not someone else. 

But now was time to go back to school. She was asked to. It was her mission from aunt Marvolo. To keep an eye on happenings at school. She was not just a student now, she was a soldier, a silent assassin. And kind of a rebel too. So the moment she did not have to wear her robes, she was back in black leather, ready for fight. It was not the same as her suit, but it was enough for casual days. 

Now she sat on the opened window, her sketchbook on her lap, drawing sunset, when her personal space was entered by somebody else. She quickly turned around just to see her fellow house mate who's name she did not know. But then again, there wasn't many people left, that she knew. "Hello," she greeted him casually.

Hannibal looked up and couldn't stop the smile spreading across his lips "well hello there" his voice was smooth and his smile was easy going.

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"You seem familiar. Aren't we the same year?" she asked with smile, looking at him better in the light of the window.

[Hannibal Salander]

"we are" he said taking her hand he kissed the back of it with a small smirk "Hannibal Salander"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"Lilith Lestrange," she introduced herself back with a sweet smile at his gesture. "Your name is familiar, yet I could swear we did not go to school together before," she said, genuinely curious.

[Hannibal Salander]

"..no before you were a teenager and i was but a child" he chuckled "the curse changed us all"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"I suppose. Yet your name sounds familiar," she kept thinking before her eye widened slightly. "You are Misha's son!" she said finally, connecting the dots.

[Hannibal Salander]

"indeed, i am Misha Salander's  and Bill Weasley's son." he grinned and pulled a flash from his robe and taking a sip of the crimson blood it held. "Such a odd sort of heritage to have, no? you are a death eater's princess. I am a parent's worst nightmare"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

Lilith felt slightly shocked at his actions, but then again, it was not exactly new to her. Her life was full of werewolves and even cannibals, so it did not seem that strange at all. At his remark about being Death eater princess, she couldn't but smirk. "I wouldn't say that about myself. I haven't been exactly raised by my real parents for that to be true," she replied. Most of the castle did not know much about Lilith. Some knew how she used to be. And that she went away. The fact that the old innocent Lilith never returned was still sort of secret.

"Don't look so suprised, i read about you while you were gone. the horsemen keep detailed records." he smirked a bit.

[Lilith Morgenstern]

Sinister smile crossed Lilith's lips for a few seconds. "And what do the records say?" she asked, her voice changing. There was no point in her masquarade anymore. And frankly, it was little relieving. She hated to play innocent in front of everyone all the time.

[Hannibal Salander]

"That you are more then you appear, and less then you claim" he said with a soft purr "and boyfriend is the new leader"

[Lilith Morgenstern]

"I see you really did your research," she smirked. "I feel almost ashamed I didn't do mine. But from what I can tell, you really are your father's grandson," she added. "Does Bill know you are still around? I am genuinely curious about his reaction," she teased.
