Some Time Later

Laying in the cabin with the blonde he had brought, blankets covering the windows and the door shut close, Magnus yawned as he placed another cover over them, resting his head on one of the pillows as he stared at Racquel's resting form.

Racquel rested peacefully on Magnus' chest. She was awake, but simply thinking. This had been her first time, and with a boy she hardly knew. Be that as it may, deep down, it felt...right. Looking up at him as he covered their naked bodies with another blanket, she smiled. "Zat was amazing... Magnus, why...ur... Why did you... Pourquoi avez-vous arrêté?" she asked, her brow drawn together slightly. Sure he had told her that Kain was dangerous, but why stop him only to take her for himself?

Allowing his eyes to wonder throughout the cabin they fell on the ceiling as he traced every line and joint of the wood,"You were pushing him off, were you not?" he answered with his own question however not dropping his eyes from the ceiling.

Pondering what Magnus told her as to why he stopped Kain, Racquel turned her head and rested it against his chest as it had been before. "Oui... I was," she answered simply. It make sense, logically. She had told him to stop, was pushing him off, and he hadn't listened. Any honorable man would have done the same. "I guess... Jus surpreezed. Started wit one und ended wit anoter," she thought outloud, more to herself then to him. Smiling, Racquel's cool fingers began to trace unseen designs on his strong chest. "Il est une bonne surprise..." she added in a happy whisper.

Playing with strands of her hair Magnus listened to her words each one echoing in his ear, he was known to be a good listener and not very talkative, however with Racquel he felt like he could speak easily, words came out naturally, he could be happy next to her, didn't need to pretend, to fake anything, "That, you do not need to say twice," he responded before he kissed her forehead and laid his head back.

The feeling of him playing with her hair sent small ripples of tingles up and down her spine as she rested thinking. Magnus' words of not needing to say her last statement twice cause her to tip her head up at him just as he leaned down and kissed her forehead and put his head back down. "Eet was a good surpreeze for you, too, mon cher?" Racquel asked as she nuzzled and kissed his jaw lightly. She found she liked being in his arms. She had a fiery personality, at times, but Magnus cooled her. Racquel hadn't felt contentment like this before, and if it was from him, then, she hoped, she could stay with him much longer then just this little tryst in the woods.

Maddox paused for a moment when he processed Racquel's question. Never had he been so close to a girl that was not his mother or sister, she was the first, "...Yeah, I never had a girlfriend before ya' know, it just came out so naturally from both of us, it seems right," he shrugged.

Racquel's bright eyes looked up at him as he paused to think. His answer was not really one she had been expecting. "Really, Magnus? But, you are... What eez ze word? Ur... Très beau," she remarked, slightly propping herself up so she could see his face better. At her compliment of him, she suddenly felt a small wave of heat rise in her cheeks. Dropping her eyes she muttered, "Au moins, je pense que oui..." Taking a deep breath and letting it out in an easy sigh, she added, "I've not 'ad a serious boyfriend before. Der 'have been some dat would 'ave been nice, but noting ever came ov dem." Magnus' comment about what happened between them, even for just meeting, seemed right, natural almost, made her pause. Raising her bright eyes to look at him through her long lashes, she said, "Per'aps, eet ez?"

Shrugging Magnus shoved a rough hand into the depths of his hair. "I don't usually socialize," he admitted with a sigh but then smiled, "Yeah, it seems right... It is right," he stated.

"Ze strong silent type, non..." Racquel mused as she reached up and brushed her fingers through his hair. Looking down at him, she let her eyes simply take in his features. She liked the feeling he gave her, both in how he looked at her and how he treated her. Even in this short time, she liked it. Magnus believed what happened between them was right, and she both believed him and felt much the same. As a tender smile spread across her features, bringing a new light to her bright eyes, she nodded and asked, timidly, "What does dis mean for us?" She wanted to tell him that if he wanted her, she would be his, but Racquel's sudden shyness overpowered her, causing those words to only linger in the eyes that looked into his.

Magnus' answer to her question brought the happiest of smiles to Racquel's face as she lightly bit her bottom lip. Leaning in she kissed him gently but with everything she was feeling in this moment. Breaking the kiss, she nuzzled his cheek and whispered, "Comme tu es à moi, si je suis le vôtre..." Letting her warm body rest against his, Racquel smiled down at him and claimed his lips in a deep kiss.
