Example Role-play (100 words min.): "Raed jumped out of her skin when the hand was placed on her shoulder; she spun around to see a young man dressed in black with bright blue eyes shining out of his head. A normal person wouldn't have been able to pick his body out for the darkness. Even Raed had trouble, in spite of her affinity with shadow.
How did he even know she was there? He must have seen her before she had cloaked herself in darkness, she supposed - that, or her powers were failing her, which she doubted. Unless this boy was magical too. What am I thinking. Boy? He's the same age as me! she corrected herself, giving him a curt shake of the head and turning back to watch the trio in the village centre.
The young girl was shaking her head to something also, and Raed could now see she was bleeding horrifically from several wounds. Bloodied stones lay around her. In spite of herself, she felt a stab of pity for the girl, but it never reached her face.
One of the men, the one in black, also had some injuries; though not as bad as the little girl's. Raed guessed she couldn't have been more than about eleven. The black dressed man was comforting her, as was the other; who had white hair and white robes and seemed to glow with a pale aura. A light mage, she instinctively knew. Her own, dark aura was rarely visible. He appeared to be offering his aid to the girl. Probably offering to heal her. Raed had no doubt that they were from the same place as she was herself, and the young man standing next to her. She looked back at him.
