Dellen was the only daughter of Lord Vahlan and Lady Urial Lestrange. In the year Eight Hundred the family moved to the cold waste lands of the Czech Republic so there daughter may attend Wolf Claw academy for Dark Magic. Dellen was...beautiful and gifted. As a member of the first class of wolf claw students she excelled in every subject and was every bit the pure blood witch her parents ever wanted.

A member of  house Wolfen, it was stranger then fiction to see the young Miss Lestrange befriend the imperious and silent, Amelia Grindelwald. Soon after meeting the two became best friends and shared everything even the occasional lover. They rose through the ranks of Wolf Claw all but owning the school, as second years they were at the top of the world and nothing seemed like it could hold them back.

That is until tragedy struck...without so much as a trace the girls went missing. Abducted one night as they walked arm and arm back to where there friends were having a party in the village square by a vampire. The beast stole the girls silently and when they awoke, there wands were broken and they were left in the pits of a dark ugly basement for days, no food, no light and minimal air. All they could do was sleep and hope for a chance out.

When the vampire, by the name of Xerces returned to the cellar he told the girls he adored them like his own and had been waiting for a moment to steal them away. The girls watched in silence as he spoke, when he turned to them and asked them to be his children they refused. Revealing a chain he had been holding he made to beat them, all it took was hearing Amelia cry out once when Dellen flung her body ontop of the other taking the brunt of the pain.

Angered Xerces tore them apart and ripped into Dellen drinking deeply from her throat before tossing her to the floor and drinking from Amelia as well. This is how they lived for some time, till one day he took too much...in fear of killing Dellen whom he had been so fond of he force fed her his blood..turning her into a vampire.

Her screaming didn't cease for a weak as the thirst ravaged her but she refused to drink from Amelia "I love you" she sobbed to her best friend "I'm in love with you, i wont kill you" refusing to see Dellen die amelia used a stone to cut her neck which broke through Dellen's resolve. Dellen drank from her voraciously till not a drop was left...with tears running down her cheeks she fed her own blood to Amelia turning her as well.

And this is how they continued to live...growing stronger by feeding off one and other there bodies covered in half moon bites from feasting off one and other's blood. When Xerces finally returned, they were strong enough to attack there captor..and kill him.

Discovering there families moved on without them giving birth to multiple sons to continue the blood lines the girls took off into the world, aging slowly and living life to its fullest, though only at night until they met a old witch in Bulgaria who gave them a gift.

The girls stayed with the witch for a year or so and one day she gave them both a piece of jewelry, that was charmed to let them walk in the sunlight again without pain.

There first timid steps into the light were celebrated with dancing and running through the woods though like all times they were happy they had to move on. While traveling the world Dellen would watch her beloved Amelia, her heart would ache when Amelia took lovers but she let her live unburdened by her friend's powerful love for her. Slowly as they aged Amelia became colder and Dellen became wiser, though one fateful night during the Beltane Rights in Ireland. They had love.

When the years turned to decades, Amelia vanished. Dellen saught the world over looking for her but settled for a life in Bulgaria and eventually married the headmaster of Durmstrang Orion Black the first and became a mother to his daughter. Living happily Dellen stopped aging around her forties choosing to stop there because she felt her most beautiful and dedicated her life to her new family and to magic. Finally for the first time in years she picked up a sword again and perfected as may fighting arts as she could, she lost herself in magic for hours each day, taking her daughter Elisabetta for walks in the white meadows where she taught her of magic and together they greeted the sun.

for a time she forgot about Amelia and her heart ache from losing her, she forgot about the pains of being forgotten by her parents. She forgot the years of being locked up and tortured and she simply lived and learned. She was finally at peace and happy. When Elisabetta had turned seventeen Orion and Dellen had a lavish party for her as her debut into society was made, one guest arrived unbidden. Amelia swept onto the dance floor and immediatly Dellen felt ice in her heart, this wasnt the amelia she had loved for over a century...this was someone else a cold creature who replaced the woman she desired. In a fit of rage and jealousy, Amelia slaughtered the guests and saved Orion and Elisabetta for last...Dellen was gravely injured and begged her old friend her sister to show mercy on her family but mercy was not found.

After losing everything Dellen spent years traveling losing herself to a darker side, she became a mindless killer known to vampires as a Ripper. Wherever she went piles of bodies were left in her wake, wiping out entire blood lines in her obsession with blood and murder. None were safe from her grasp, that is until she met the Grimms of Nexus. She fought them valiantly but slowly the mortal men over came her, nearly killing her as they sought to end her slaughtering. She was tied up in there encampment near America during there expeditions in the New World, it wasnt until she watched a woman with her child who was dying of the bubonic plague that she felt her heart ache again with the last pieces of her humanity.

Using her gifts she forced the woman to release her and she healed the child then disappeared. For the next decade she worked for the ministry and ended conflicts and worked to help other vampires and werewolves across the globe, making up slowly for half a century of blood shed at her hands.

During a conflict in Moscow she met a vampire by the name of Lazarus Weasley whom was turning muggles into vampires to wage war, after killing his army she was over taken and only lived tanks to the man's mercy where she escaped and returned only to destroy the rest of his new born vampires.

A hundred years would pass and she found herself once more at the mercy of the Nexians and the Grimm family, in a unlikely turn of events Dellen befriended there king Lord Averbane and turned the young man into a vampire in a effort to save his life and ensure the warriors of Nexus lived on.

Through out the years she met many vampires and many people and gained tremendous amounts of knowledge and power, finally she would return to england and join the staff of Hogwarts as Deputy Head Mistress and Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher.

Now she is a mother of three adopted daughters, Katrina Lestrange, Briana and Mira Yaxley, and grandmother to many.

*Authors Note* So i hate writing backgrounds and this one sucks but it barely gets into everything Dellen has been through but it does the job. XP.
