"It must be nice having so many scars" he noted

"You're not like most wizards or witches I meet" he added "Most of them don't know how to swordfight... although, of course, I don't know how to either. Although I might start now..."

Luna shrugs. ''Depends on what they're from...torture, fights, simple stunts. I'm a Quidditch player, Chaser and i love to fuck with people. I hang upside down on my broom and let go. I fall...to scare people and i land on my broom and go. So much fun! I'm an adrenaline junkie though so maybe thats way...'' She smirks.

''You're probably the second quiet, mysterious person i've met since being here.'' Luna laughs. ''I'm glad i'm different then. Why not? fighting also allows you to relieve stress, anger...and you can always imagine the person you hate before you.'' She smirks again.

"Hmm.... yeah.." he said

"It would be rather cool to be able to fight. It would also probably give me more to do rather than just hanging around the Forbidden Forest in my free time"

Luna notes the pause. She smiles. ''This is the best place to fight.'' She looks back at the castle to see people walking over to breakfast. ''It's best to come here in the morning or even night...but if you go at night. Just don't go alone. I'll come with you and help you fight if you want? Just as long as you don't come here alone.'' She repeats, a seriousness in her voice. She then smiles brightly.

"Hmm... okay, that sounds okay. I've been here alone before, though. It's not too bad" he said eventually.

Luna looks at the ground. ''Not when you're seen as a threat. I've been many times with a sword on my back and i've been attacked and i've been here without it and i've not been attacked. It's a wee bit...messy sometimes.'' She shrugs. ''Besides. i'm sure you don't even know how to start training, correct?'' She asks with a smirk.

Luna smirks. ''Thought so.''

She grins at him and puts her hands behind her head. ''As do I, Alyrin. It'll be nice to get away from things actually...Perhaps i can get my friends to help as well. Some are in your house as well so it'll be fun.'' She smiles kindly at him.

Luna looks at him with sadness in her eyes. ''It's awful being alone...Well i'm going to stop that. I made a promise to make sure another new friend of mine is not alone so i'm going to do the same with you. If i ever bug you and when ya want to be alone, just tell me. Other than that, ya won't be. I hate it when people are alone...'' She admits with a shrug.

Luna smiles as he looks at her. ''No need to say thanks. It's what i do.'' She says gently, her voice vibrating with care. ''I know what ya mean. I've been, unfortunately, putting a distance around my family and really close friends so it'll be nice to hang out with someone who..doesn't know me that well.'' She admits softly, with a small shrug.

Luna smiles. ''Perhaps i can get to know you whilst we train. I use emotions to fight...I think of something that angers and frustrates me and my swings become more powerful. Like when you saw me fight earlier. My swings were powerful but if i'm doing it for the love of it, they're just simple swings to get better.'' She tilts her head. ''If i can get to know you and why you're so quiet, i could use this to improve you and decide which weapon is best.'' She says softly with a kind smile.

Alyrin paused a little

"Before I was found by my uncle, I lived on the streets"

"I had to live on whatever I could find on the street, or just scavenge for food or hope for the charity of others" he said "I always liked the dark, quiet corners of the alleys then... just like I like them now"

He sighs a little as he remembers what he has done and what he has needed to do to survive for those eight or so years.

Luna listened to him and she gasps, putting a hand over her heart. ''That's terrible! No one should live like that but perhaps it gave you the love of darkness and quietness.'' She says and walks over to him, wrapping her arms around him. ''I am glad your uncle found you, Alyrin.'' She releases him and smiles.

Luna smiles at him. ''But you're here now, Alyrin. I'm actually surprised you didn't learn how to fight when you were on the streets. Gods know what could've happened.'' She says gently and leans down, kissing his forehead. ''No more of that now. You gonna get a Hogwarts family like i did, you have a real family too and no more streets. Even if there is a time where you think you have no place to go, come find me. I'll give you a room in my home.'' She offers with a caring smile.

Luna chuckles and smiles, glad he does. ''Don't worry...When i first came here, i had no one as my friend. Then i met someone who introduced me to their friends and now they're my family.'' She says softly. ''Well this is your first year, right? Well of course you don't know too much but by the time you leave here, you'll know a lot and know many people.'' She exclaims, throwing her hands in the air and spinning in a circle, laughing to herself.
